- Small plastic box for housing 12 batteries.- I use it to store batteries that get loose or separated from the storage box they come in. I got tired of them rattling around in the bottom of a Tupperware container. This box solves that problem (for just 12 batteries).- Box is not waterproof.- Plastic is not cheap. It is thick thus preventing the box from crushing under normal use.- Small enough to fit in your pocket and carry when camping. Keeps the batteries organized and from running loose in the bottom of a backpack.- Latch is strong enough to hold the lid closed.- Individual dividers along the bottom keep the batteries from rolling around. A full height center divider separates the batteries into sets of six.- Hinge is the ‘one-piece’ plastic. It is thick enough that it should last for many uses before it eventually fails.Note: I bought the AAA and AA box. This review is used from both units.

I bought this to store rechargeable batteries in the refrigerator. For that purpose this is a great product. I probably open and close it once a month, it keeps batteries in one place, oriented so there is no risk of accidentally creating a circuit and discharging, and the lid stays closed when snapped shut.Is it super high-quality plastic? Not particularly. Does the lid fit with precision? Not exactly. But for the price it is about the level of quality I was expecting and works for my use case.I took one of these on a work trip once and while it survived the trip, I don't think it is designed to handle more routine usage, such as opening and closing it daily, putting in and taking out of a work bag, or the occasional drop.I also have the  AA  version of this product and would say that it is comparable in usability and quality. I’ve been meaning to get these battery storage boxes for years now. So, this year when I was going through the camping gear and getting things cleaned up and organized, I knew it was time. I bought these for the AAA’s and also picked up ones to store my AA & D’s. All the current sizes I use for all the miscellaneous camping accessories I have, fans, lights, portable shower, etc. These really are great little storage boxes. I had read some other reviews, mine came with the dividers and they all snap shut tight. You have no idea how great it is to finally have the batteries stored as they should have been all along, and not rolling around in whatever box they just happened to land in because I was in a hurry to get camp broken down! Great idea, great product, just wish I had picked them up years ago like I wanted to.

This is a useful little product for organizing batteries but it’s fragile. I dropped it (full of batteries) and the plastic broke. I gave it three stars because it’s my fault I dropped it but I’m not thrilled it broke so easily.

It's a battery case. It fits batteries. I have batteries in mine right now and it is totally holding them for all it is worth. Good job tiny clear box! It has a little movable divider (just one, mind you) so if you only have a few batteries you can scrunch them all up together at one end like a happy little battery family. And little Timmy Duracell and Bobby Energizer can hang out with their friends Jane and Jill Eneloop all nice and cozy-like and not rattle all over the place if you're tossing around your battery box. But you wouldn't do that anyway. Right?
