NASA Space Shuttle Transportation System Manual

This manual is nothing more than a photocopy of the original 1984 Rockwell International Space Transportation System Press Reference Manual. Missing are many of the fabulous illustrations and fold-outs. The type is half the size of the original and many of the illustrations are barely readable. There is a large white border above and below the written copy of each page as a result of the reducing the original horizontally formatted copy.The quality of the cover photo of Columbia is incredibly poor. NASA has websites for publishers where high resolution images could have been downloaded of Columbia or any other Orbiter.I'm a 19 year veteran photographer of the Space Shuttle Program and had my own copy of the Original Rockwell Manual until it disappeared one day. I was hoping this 2011 version emulated the original. If you seen or used the original, you'll be very disappointed with the new version. I returned my purchase and will continue to look for an Original copy.*NOTE: I purchased a copy of The Space Transportation Systems Reference by Apogee Books, Canada. It's a bound hard copy of the original. Vertically reformatted and SUPERB in every way. Hard to find especially in "Fine to Mint" condition, but worth looking for!
