Great Motherboards
First one was DOA. The final three worked the first time and continue to give me peace of mind. Extremely reliable and high quality devices compared to those other lower tiers boards from parts unknown that are DOA or don"t even POST.

Low power, low noise, easy installation
I had an old Ubuntu linux system that died, and I replaced the motherboard with this (J3455-ITX, plus 1 new stick of RAM). This one is nice, because it has almost everything on the board, so I don't need a bunch of extra cards for LAN/video/audio (yeah, I haven't bought a MB in a while). There was 1 setting I had to change in the BIOS so it would boot the older SATA HDD, and I was up and running in about 30 minutes for the swap. No fans, so it is very quiet, and it runs cool. All the noise comes from the HDD and the PSU, now. Could easily make this dead silent with a fanless PSU and SSD. Total power consumption is around 30W for the entire system, measured with a Kill-A-Watt. Without the tuner card, it would probably be closer to 20W. For how I use this (DVR in the backroom), it works perfectly.

Good ITX fan-less board
A nice fan-less ITX board. Only issue with the board is that it doesn't seem to like my SeaWit KVM - it seems to hang for a while on the Press F2 to setup screen with it connected. It does eventually time out, but then it doesn't respond to the keyboard or mouse after that. It works fine when I directly connect the keyboard and mouse.

Info for buyers.
Board EFI is unreliable. It may stuck and require reboot when you are doing initial configuration. Same behavior after upgrade to latest 1.20 firmware.Board works well with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. 16.10 is also ok if you are not going to use virtual machines.Intel VT-d is supported and you may wish enable and configure linux kernel with intel_iommu=on parameter.Such config works ONLY if you disable integrated ASMedia ASM1061 controller, otherwise board will stuck randomly within first 1-3 minutes.Until you need to passthrough PCIe slot to a guest, leave VT-d disabled. After 15 minutes of demo BD playback (mini ITX enclosure), CPU temperature maxed and stopped at 130 °F. No additional fans are required.Embedded quiet fan control feature does not work! It runs fan despite of configured target CPU temperature.

Good board just doesn't have alot of peripherals like its prior revisions.
Bought this to replace the revision before this model. The model before had 2 more sata ports which made a multi drive server possible. Had to buy a pci sata controller to accommodate 4 more hard drives which this board allows. The improvement with this board is the multi-tasking doesnt suffer much slow down like the previous revision.

Misrepresented CPU, machine check exceptions.
This isn't a 2.3GHz CPU, it's an "Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J3455 @ 1.50GHz". I also have discovered with Linux every boot there are Machine Check Exceptions for errors, while they don't seem to affect anything it's annoying every bootup. Yes, already checked for newer BIOS and there was none, and it passes all memory and other diagnostics I can think of so I don't think it's DoA.Fortunately I'm only needing this to run a low power file-server for relatives and can cope with the lower performance and annoying "errors" but it certainly leaves me wanting to avoid ASRock Motherboards for future builds. I regret not getting a Gigabyte or SuperMicro which I've had much better success with.

Your next build will thank you!
Has been running 24/7 for 8 weeks now with no issues. well its not been entirely without issue. The combo is amazing for a light duty server. The only time I have encountered a single recurrent issue was when I transfer a large amount of data at once (>500GB). I purchased an intel NIC card and that solved the problem. the system runs flawlessly otherwise. It operates in a somewhat dusty environment. This is by far the best system I have built.Update**3 Years running 24/7. and this is still very capable as a NAS board.

Great under OpenBSD 6.4 and later
I am using this mainboard as an always-on home server, serving a few websites and running a few applications. It has a great balance of performance and power efficiency. Another strong point of this board is that everything works perfectly under OpenBSD 6.4. I've tested the on-board networking, the PCIE slot, the graphics, the audio -- everything works without any further configuration.
