Winco 4-Inch Pan, Full, Stainless Steel

Just like the pans I used in my foodservice career. Just as reliable as it was back then. You can always rely on Winco to deliver a serviceable, amazing product. 4-Inch is a very spacious pan. Able to fit several pounds of pasta, or casserole. Historically? Able to fit 2 half ham portions in the pan. As a chef and seasoned cook of 11 years, I endorse this brand. Yes, its stainless steel. Treat it properly. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO GREASE THE PAN!!!!!!!!!! its always what I told my waitresses and kitchen staff, And its what i advise the buyer and home cook to do as well. Moving into a new home? Consider buying a 2 inch, 4 inch, and a 2 inch perforated. These pans will be given to your great grandchildren as heirlooms. Don't worry about replacing these. They will never fail you unless you really assault and beat the equipment by mistreatment. In my 11 years in the kitchen, then 6 years prior to that in the kitchen? I've had 1 of these pans fail me. Buy this pan.

This pan is beautiful. I'm used to the old ones that we have and this was a REALLY nice surprise. It's going to make all my other ones look terrible now. Guess I'll need to buy more. The size is perfect as the insert, not the water pan. It just pops right in - very easy. The price wasn't all that bad for how nice it looks.

Okay, so. I bought this to use as a litter box. I've had a sifting litter box to use with pine pellets for years, but never felt clean enough. After trying to find a sifting, stainless steel litter box left me unsuccessful, I found a number of people mentioning perforated steaming pans on reddit (ily reddit) and decided to give it a shot. WOW, what a game changer. Bought this with a 6" pan and havent looked back. It cleans like a dream, I can scrub it as much as I want, though it generally doesn't need it, and it never smells after the fact. Such a great idea (again, ily reddit) and this pan is the perfect size. I'd assume it also works great for food service!! Mine won't ever venture into that field, though lol

Awaiting delivery of replacement pan, used for almost 10 years, unconventionally. Unfortunately, this Winco model is 1.6 Ibs vice 24 gage at 2 lbs. Thus, this lightweight (26 gage?) is not likely to hold up as long. However, Amazon sells heftier versions for higher prices. I will use this on top of gas grill grates, as it can be cleaned and extends life of my cooking grates. Provides better flame control for high fat foods, as 2.5 inches farther from flames. Holds eight burgers, each having a 4.5" diameter. I recommend removing pan when preheating grill. Will update after usage.

Fits my chaffing dish set perfectly! I lend my 5 sets out and when retured was missing pieces.

I bought this to use with my Blackstone griddle. If I am cooking a meal, it is a pain to carry out a bunch of stuff a bit at a time, so I bought this to load up with everything I need to carry out to the griddle for the meal... food, grill tools, plates, oil, salt/pepper, sauces, etc. No more multiple trips into the house. Unlike a plastic bin, this pan handles being next to the heat without issue. It is good quality, solid, and easy to clean, and a good price compared to others. I also got 2 1/3 size pans of the same brand for when I don't need to carry as much.

If you use wood pellet litter for my two cats - this, in combination with the six-inch pan, creates a fantastic system for managing cat litter. The pellets, when wet, turn into saw dust that falls through the holes. Everything else can be picked up using tongs and put directly into the toilet. I highly recommend this if you want a pellet litter cat box!
