Bought this lid to be able to stack on top of the large pan it was designed for. I use my pan for ribs, so many times they sit in the refer for a bit. If I need more storage in the good old refer, I just put this lid on top, and pile it on. Great lid, easy to clean, light weight, and pretty strong. I'd recommend getting one if you plan on putting your large pan anywhere for a long time, so you don't lose storage in your refrigerator or freezer.

It's a bit thin, and just malleable enough to accidentally get bent but still resist all efforts to reform those accidentally bent parts. Be careful with it - it's apparently just designed to keep contaminants out of a tray's contents with careful handling. I really wouldn't expect this to last long in a commercial kitchen setting, especially if your "volunteers" are clumsy with the kitchen hardware.

This lid is so thin that it warps right in my hands! The little handle on top is so shallow that it is impossible to grasp the lid without getting burned, and yet it is almost impossible to lift the lid using a pot holder. How hard would it be to add a handle that allows safe handling of a hot lid?
