Dog & Bone Wetsuit - Topless, Waterproof iPhone 7 Plus Case - Silvertail

So this case has been no less than a journey for me but now that I've acquired it only feels right to do a review for such a excellent product made by a standup company!So first off, lets talk about the case…The first thing noticed holding this in hand is it’s thinness. This case has a premium feeling in hand. Back has a criss cross “hatch” pattern and provides just the right amount of grip. Buttons work effortlessly. Among this cases competitors the mute rocker works the best of the bunch. Case includes a lanyard hole for those that find that a necessity. Throughout my time with this case, and it’s “brother” the Wetsuit Impact I didn’t experience any problems with people saying I was muted on phone. Sound output sounds equally as impressive when taking into consideration that this case is waterproof. Plug at bottom easy to access charge port. Home button membrane feels “thick” and does not feel like it would/could easily tear. The case is very easy to assemble and disassemble but does NOT feel like it would come apart upon being dropped. Not a lot else to mention about it; but this is a very VERY good waterproof case! There is only ONE con that I will mention below.—Pros—-THIN-Waterproof-Excellent button feedback-Good home button membrane-Just the right amount of grip-Excellent sound input/output-Doesn’t require a act of God to get together/apart-Did I mention it’s THIN-Back glass doesn’t affect ability to snap good pictures-Lanyard hole-All around premium feeling-Port plug allows easy access for charging—Con— There is only ONE con, and I mean ONE! The plug/hole for charge port ONLY allows use of Apple Branded charger. My Anger cable that is BARELY larger than Apple cable does not fit. This is just one MINOR drawback. I realize they wanted the hole as small as possible to make it easier to keep water proof and less chance of water filling the ship.So a little of the back story… Amazon sent me this case for a iPhone 7 not once, not twice but THREE times when I had ordered the 7 plus variant. I finally gave up. Amazon made good of the situation but was not apparently capable of providing this for me for the 7 plus variant. I gave up. I realize this case is shipped and sold by Amazon, but I have previously used D&B cases for my old iPhone 6 and wanted them to be aware of the HUGE ordeal and run around Amazon gave me over this case. Amazon and I went back and forth for TWO LONG WEEKS! I sent D&B an email so they would be aware. I don’t want people to not be lucky enough to try D&B case because Amazon can not get their act together. I was gracious enough to get to deal with Paul through email when I notified them of the huge debacle. Paul said he would take care of me and the next thing I know the correct Wetsuit showed up at my door…FOR A 7 PLUS EVEN!!! I was ecstatic. So not only is this a excellent product, but their customer service went above and beyond to fix a situation they did not exactly have a hand in. But wait, theres more… I received the case today and Paul took time out of his busy schedule to call me personally and ensure everything was satisfactory! I have NEVER EVER had a company go out of their way to take care of me like Dog and Bone did in this instance. They have won a customer for life. If I own a product they sell a case for I WILL be buying one! Paul, Dog and Bone— THANK YOU for taking care of your customers. I was in AWE that not only he fixed it he gave me a personal ring to ensure everything was perfect. That is the type of customer service that I want to support with my hard earned money. My wallet speaks for me.This is a great case—See my attached pics of ALL the 7 plus cases I have tried—, and more reviews should reflect so but if Amazon can’t get the customer the right product it’s hard for them to be able to review it positively for the great product it is. If anyone has any questions about this case I will be happy to do my best to answer them. Again, Dog and Bone hasn’t paid me or provided this product for review, I DO NOT review cases for personal gain at all. All the cases I have I have purchased myself through amazon or otherwise.

I bought this case because I canoe and have small children. even though I use a dry bag and my kids don't play with my phone, I wanted to protect it. I bought the case in March and the company has been very responsive. They've sent me three replacement cases, all of which have cracked along the edge where it says dog and bone. I have not dropped my phone at all, I keep it in an inside pocket of my purse or my pocket, so I'm not sure why it keeps breaking. I've never had to replace previous cases. That combined with the lowered image quality from the camera, terrible sound quality if you answer without headphones and limited ability to use the fingerprint button all make this case a terrible choice.

This case affected sound quality terribly. I had to pull out the rubber cover where you charge it every time I got a call. If I didn’t they could not hear me. Then after just a few months the case cracked. Worse case I ever had. I was actually glad when it broke

Absolutely incredible. Have owned many Lifeproof and Otterbox cases that quickly broke. This by far is superior in quality, price and performance!

This case may work well for a waterproof need, but sound quality both listening and other people hearing you is seriously hindered. I could not use this case simply because no one could hear me on calls.

I went with this case because it's a "topless" case (direct interaction with the touchscreen) and has a nice, slim form factor. After using this case for a week, I'm returning it. The home button cutout is too small, and the plastic covering stops TouchID from working (in fact, it nearly renders the home button on my phone non-functioning; I have to press extremely hard to get it to register a click). Control Panel and the notifications pane are also nearly impossible to access since the case abuts the bottom and top of the screen.

Audio was affected severly. With the volume all the way up I could barely hear. And the mike was just as bad. On speakerphone or facetime the other party could barely hear me.

Owned it only for 1 month and when I dropped by phone it broke the case in two places, next time dropped it broke in another place and totally unusable now. My phone did not break, but the case did. Also, the hole at the bottom is too small for may car and other recharge cords to fit in. Need to buy new case again now.

Custodia molto carina e funzionale ma poco resistente, si è rotta dopo nemmeno un mese di utilizzo, sembra non resista al sole. Sinceramente era meglio Lifeproof. Anche l’audio e pessimo

Works perfectly every time. Not cheap but absolutely reliable so worth every penny
