My husband uses this for knees after basketball pain after basketball and it seems to really help. I am going to try it on my lower back but I think it will work great for that too. My chiropractors office uses something similar so having one at home is more cost effective and convenient. Also, it’s packaged really well and easy to take along with us when we are away from home.

Pros: You’ll see results fast for Achilles pain and plantar fasciitis. With 6 hrs of battery life per battery, you don’t have to worry about charging often. Well packaged and it’s nice that it comes with a travel bag.Cons: The glasses are a bit uncomfortable. It would be nice if there was some cushion to the nose bridge. Not a big enough deal to knock it down a star, just a suggestion to the manufacturer.My Story and Experience: I had a slightly torn achilles and plantar fasciitis about twelve years ago. My doctor recommended using a laser pointer a couple times a day. I thought it was odd, but it worked. I had to use a true office laser pointer then, but it got rid of the pain.Now fast forward 12 years and the pain returned after wearing bad shoes on a long 5 mile hike a few weeks ago (without stretching first, big no no!). I was pleasantly surprised to find out that now there are devices specifically made for this purpose. Love that is portable and compact! Also love that it comes with its own case. I wish the other LifePro products came with their own case. It helps keep things manageable. I use this on my wrist and it’s helped with pain. Would recommend.

Oh my goodness! This came a day later than I expected it. I bought it because I'm going to have ankle surgery and would like to heal quickly. I have a natural doctor that uses cold laser but it cost between $50 to $65 for a session, the sessions are about 15 minutes. The machinery looks more complicated than this. But it really does help. It works well and heals me quickly, though it may take a few sessions. (Three sessions are $150 at least). Somebody in my neighborhood told me that she was using red light therapy at home and it was really helping. So I hopped on Amazon and I found this. I have a long-term injury in my wrist. That means that even though I've been through a lot of physical therapy for it it's still tweaks and hurts. It's around a piece of cartilage and ligament. There isn't a surgery they can do for it physical therapy has done what they can for it, I was told by my doctor that it would just be a long time healing type of a thing. I was basically ready to wait for years. I use this last night before bed on that spot on my wrist. It felt a good deal better afterwards. But when I woke up this morning and it was still feeling fantastic and stayed fantastic for many more hours before its pain started to creep in again, I knew that I was in love with red light therapy at home! I am so excited about this product I've told like 10 people just today! It works just as well as the expensive one at the natural doctor's office.... I mean, I've had it for a whopping one day but I can't stop grinning over it. **UPDATE** Now I've had this little gadget for many weeks. It is still working fantastically. I am excited about red light therapy now, so I've purchased more items like belts and shoulder pads. This one is definitely more expensive, but I've also noticed that, while the others do help a lot and might be shaped in a way that's more conducive to the areas I'm using them on, this gadget does seem to be more powerful and more effective. I've been using it on my shoulder and wrist. I've been in physical therapy for a very long time for those. I won't need to go back to physical therapy now though. Just using this with no exercising, I'm back to a full range of motion with very little pain left over from the original injury. It just continues to amaze me. I'm so glad I bought it.

When I sprained my ankle earlier this week I rest, ice and elevation were key but I wanted more. I found this red light torch and have been using it for the past 5 days. Does it help? I think so -- it certainly hasn't hurt me and I can feel the heat in a concentrated area. The torch is easy to use, compact and easily taken with me if I'm out for a period of time.

This device is amazing!! I was not aware of red light therapy until I was on an on-line health thread. I use it throughout the day for lower back pain. I had been icing my back almost daily until I discovered this little gem. Arthritis? No problemo with this device. I ordered two as gifts and had at least three other friends order one too. It’s durable and well worth the $$. And it’s compact so you can take it anywhere.

I was hopeful this would help alleviate muscle and joint pain on myself and our Labrador Retriever who also has joint issues; not o ly didn't it help but caused the joint/muscle pain to hurt twice as bad an or so after using it! I thought I didn't use it right so I kept the device further away from my skin and sure enough it made the pain worse; to the point I had an issue walking.I read the directions prior to using it then re-read them after having extreme afterwards and there was a link to watch a video to find out how to use the Lumicore Pro Light Therapy Torch. The video was the bare minimum and was exactly how I used it so I had seen a link for how to use the device for different issues - I thought Great! The link took me to all the products this company sells! I found NOTHING for further support on the Lumicore Pro. The reviews showed this product would help with the red and blue light therapies. It is so frustrating to purchase it and have NO SUPPORT.If your wondering if I used it on our Black Lab; absolutely not because he can't tell me if it hurts. Now I have to send it back for a return.
