got the board out of the box and everything seemed good but when I tried it out the remote would not connect properly to the board. So I called customer service and they sent me a new remote in 3 days. (they get an extra star for that.) the board itself is okay, it does not cruise at 18MPH it cruises at 16 (i'm 155lbs), which is fine by me. I'm an experienced skater and I don't feel comfortable cruising at anything higher. The battery life is as advertised and out of the box the trucks are tight but they include a skate toolUpdate: I have had the board for over 2 months now and it mostly works fine. I had to apply thread locker to the nuts ( it does not appear to have come pre installed.) And I need to get a new belt because mine has stretched out and slips frequently, it should be a cheap replacement.

Compared to other boards at this price it's way better. I own the blink action board and this surpaces it in virtually everyway. Its a great size the throttle is responsive but not jumpy where it throws you off the board and the brake is like butter compared to the blink board. The blink board is a decent board I like it but the controls are to jumpy where the atom board is just so smooth and the board feels more quality.Update the board was terrible at climbing hills couldn't even get up to 5mph even on some very small 10 percent grade up hills. Returning for the koowheel hopefully it's better at climbing

The ATOM B10 Electric review with updates and pics.
Lets start off with I didn't major in English so please forgive me. First with I weigh about 190 and it as I repeat hauls butt. You can get the speed wobble pretty quick on it so be real careful. I've been riding for years so at 45 yo and riding for years to me its more like being able to just cruise as if you were down hilling. This board can be pretty dangerous if you aren't use to a skateboard and its a shortboard. Just an FYI speed and short boards don't mix but ive still hauled some serious azz on it. I like my trucks tight but turnable for turns the more you tighten the less speed wobble you will get so keep that in mind when setting it up. You don't have to adjust anything but everybody likes to ride differently. The good news is I haven't wrecked once yet and rode it for well over 2 hours already. Feels VERY sturdy and nothing on it appears cheap. One review said it doesn't go the correct speed but this def goes fast enough. So for my first electric board so far I like how it rides and its sturdiness I will update this as wear and tear kicks in. I would consider myself a pretty experienced skater.7/30 - So I have had the board now for over a month. Everything on it is working great. Battery and speed are just fine so far. I havent wrecked it once but I have been riding it a lot. We took it to Key West with us and it came real handy when I had to park two blocks down from our place. Other then that its been really solid.I lost 35 pounds so its hauling around a 160 pound guy now.10/6/2017 Ok this thing is still shredding. I havent killed myself on it yet. Battery seems great so far. Im keeping it fully charged like the manual said. So everything else still applies Ive had a few people try it and they almost ate face pretty quick. I told them get the Electric Longboard then. The shortboard is made for crazy ass people like me. Its fast and agile and thats exactly what I wanted.7/7/2018 - I finally messed it up!!!! The shock thingy came loose so I rode it home backwards from the beach. I have been beating on this thing for a YEAR with no major maintenance other then the basics. So its time to fix it and im almost ready to pull trigger on another one real soon. Pic related it broke on the way up the bridge.8/4/2018 - So I've been without my board for a few weeks now. It feels like a loved one died. Actually i've had a loved one die and it didn't feel this bad.....omg Im kidding. I've gotten with the manufacture. They were pretty swift and aggressive with helping me figure out the problem and the solution. So I got some replacement parts. I also went ahead and pulled trigger on the new model with updates coming very soon.8/11/2018 - Board has arrived. I have noticed some considerable differences with what I will call version 2.0. It appears to me that where mine broke at is now one complete piece. Which eliminates that problem for good. I will update once I get about 10 hours on it and here are some pics to take a look at.TIP: When I first got the board last year first thing I did was I velcroed my remote to my board (pics below) because I kept losing it.

Great Board at a Great Price
I usually don't do reviews, because, whatever, they got money, so why bother... But this E-skateboard is a truly high quality product, and the price is great. I've had several skateboards over the last 10 years, and this is by far the best. The first ones I owned were heavy and dangerous - they used Lead-Acid AGM battery chemistry, and weighed 50 lbs. This little board weighs around 10 - still heavy for a skateboard, but light enough to be maneuverable - It has a kick-tail so you can do 360s and such if you are old-school like me. Nice....and it is PLENTY fast. Trust me: You do not want to go more than 10 or 15 mph on a skateboard. Sooner or later you will crash, and any faster than that is gonna jack you up good. Braking is good - progressive unlike earlier boards I rode which were very tricky, and would throw you if you let off the throttle too quickly. This one centers on neutral - if you release it suddenly, you'll just coast.Going up hills in "novice" mode won't work, but in "expert" hang on!. It went right up the steepest hill I could find. I only weigh about 150lbs however, so your hillage may vary. It helps to kick-push it to get rolling like a traditional skateboard - most of the energy you are going to consume on this board will be from starting from a dead-stand-still. Push kicking to start will increase the range dramatically I suspect, but it's unlikely that you'll want to ride this thing more than 7 miles as a time anyway - the wheelbase is short and the ride is very harsh - my one major criticism of the board.Atom could improve the ride dramatically by using a softer, thicker elastomeric riser under the trucks to soak-up some of the bone shaking vibration. A softer deck material would help as well, but then the board wouldn't have it's traditional look. The trucks are also nothing special - I'm looking into some softer bushings because I like a looser feel to my skateboards for carving - but tight trucks make the board arguably safer I suppose for high speed use, which again, you will avoid if you know what's good for you and/ or don't have good medical and/or life insurance.Overall, 5 stars. Will update this review if the board craps out on me at some point..
