Aside from being reusable, what exactly is the difference between just scanning or taking pics of regular index cards?

The app makes it much better; much clearer. It automatically crops perfectly. It has a "Smart List" function that works great--you can "add" things automatically to a List, delete them, etc. from subsequent scans (i.e.--today you have 8 things on your list, three days later you add four more on a new scan, and it adds it automatically to the list). It does OCR, and "types" your handwriting. It allows you to search your scans in the app itself if you don't want to search on the destination you sent it to. There's just no comparison. I know it integrates well with Google Drive, but there are a bunch more you could use (that's the only one I use, in addition to email). And no, I don't work for the company or get commissions, but I wish I did. It's a great product integrated with the app.

Are they lined and dot grid?

If you buy or make beacons, you could use vertically lined notecards. Not sure if the beacons work for the flashcard function, but they do support the convert to pdf option. If you've never used beacons, you put a beacon in each corner (need 4 beacons) and use the Beacon option in the Rocketbook app. To make the vertically lined notecards reusable, use a document protector over the card face and dry erase pens.

Do you have to use hashtags for your title to be recognized? The video does not show hashtags being used but I know they are needed for Rocketbook not

You do. Of course, you can always scan it, then title it, but otherwise, it requires the same ## TITLE ## as Rocketbooks.

Brilliant.

Great for jotting quick notes on. e.g. whilst looking at web. As an aid memoir. Then go back through them reminded what needs attention. Shuffle the pack into priorities. Then, Do the job. Wipe clean - start again. Excellent.

Rocket Cloud Cards

Great product for pre meeting/presentation notes especially as they are reusable over and over again. I have definitely found them very useful as has my granddaughter who is using them for university

Fantastic idea

I have used these as study cards and for taking messages in place of post-its. I love the idea and how easy they are to wipe and reuse. The app is great and their blog gives many ideas for hacks and customisation. I have bought little stands and use them as reminders. Very good product with lots of potential and really excellent quality. Highly recommend.

Poor Finish on Edges

As other reviews have shown there are consistent marks/notches on the long edge of each card. Assuming this is a result of the manufacturing/cutting process, it is most prominent when they are stacked together. Also, I had to go through and pull/brush the loose parts of these chips away. Having said this, there is no detriment to the operation and function of the cards and everything works as expected. Rocketbook make some great products that I have used for years. I just feel that the end product quality in this case doesn’t quite meet the mark.
