What is the source of the vitamin c? i am looking for non-gmo; organic; no corn derivatives.

It is made from non-GMO corn. Vitamin C that is not made from corn is very difficult to find and quite a bit more expensive if you are able to find it.

What mesh size is this powder?

It is 40 to 80 mesh. It appears to be a little bit smaller than granulated sugar.

Can this be used as a pre soak for food before dehydrating?

The only information that I have seen is using ascorbic acid to prevent some fruits from browning. I am not sure about other foods besides fruit. For several pounds of fruit, use a large pot and combine 1-2 tsp. ascorbic acid with 1 gallon distilled water and soak the fruit slices for just a few minutes.

What are the recommended steps to use this in a pool to remove staining? I used a differen product and every time I add chlorine the stain comes back.

Doesn’t matter what ascorbic acid you use, though this one does work the fastest:) you need to remove the metals from your water by adding a metal stain blocker afterwards. That will at least slow down the return of the stains. It is recommended that you add ascorbic powder to pool as a preventative measure as well.

It’s amazing :)

I lowered my chlorine to 3, poured this on my steps and felt like a magician. I was so excited that the brown stains completely disappeared, and then proceeded to disappear throughout the rest of the pool just with running the filter for a few hours .
