I’ve had these for almost two months. Up here in Anchorage I’ve been running in snow for a month already. These shoes are great. I run 5 miles 3-4 times a week. They have proven to be waterproof so far. Excellent traction in the mud or snow. My feet are dry and they are very comfortable. First time using this type of laces and I like how easy there are to lace up. Just a little looser in the heel than I wanted but not bad. All in all they are well worth it. I suffered with foot pain a couple years due to a injury from wearing the the wrong shoes. I have tried several different brands and style even another salomon style. I was hesitant to purchase yet another pair of shoes all to have them feel the same way. I did some research and gave these a try. Amazing, they feel like I'm walking on clouds. My foot pain is gone and I even don't mind leaving on my shoes. They do have a aggressive tread for normal wear but at this point I don't care! I use them for hiking, walking and I'm a dental assistant that's on my feet alot and I even wear them at the office. My boss calls them high tech shoes lol but I call them comfort.

I’ve used the trail running shoe on three occasions since I purchased them just over a week ago. The footpaths that I have run are fairly level (in terms of ascent and descent) but are normally wet, slippery and rutted at this time of year. First impressions are that these trail shoes provide a sturdy and surefooted feel. The trainer soles dig into the surface and provide a strong degree of certainty. Having used road shoes in the past, it takes a couple of miles to appreciate the confidence they provide.The shoes are lightweight, comfortable and easy to put on / take off.I normally take an 11 in shoe. I ordered an 11.5 in the trail shoe which is just about right.
