Awesome Whole Food Ingredients in Pellet Form
I feed all my birds a chop of whole foods everyday with seed as only a treat. THEY LOVE SEED! If they see the seed bag, they start freaking out!!! LOL Poor things... Like an addict seeing their next fix! Seed is too high in Phosphorus, not enough calcium and/or D3 or Vitamin A and all kinds of other things but they love it. I lost my lovely Cockatoo from eggbound because she was on a mostly seed diet. That was before I knew better. So now, like a crazy bird lady (and cat lady and dog lady, sigh... just crazy! LOL) I chop up a bunch of food everyday for all the critters. However, I felt like they needed some crunchies in life to take the place of their seed addiction but couldn't find a pellet with ingredients that I liked and that the little heathen parrots would eat.I stuck a bowl of these pellets in their cages. They hopped over like, "YES! SEED!" Peered in, and said, "NO! NOT SEED! I HATE YOU!" LOLI thought, well, another bunch of pellets I'll have to soften and mix in with their chop. (See? Crazy! LOL) But at least I liked all the whole vegetable and fruit ingredients... and rice instead of soy or corn or wheat! :)The next morning, all those chicklets were chowing down for breakfast in those bowls of pellets. The sun rised on a new day and they were hungry and there was crunchy food in their bowl! ALMOST LIKE SEED! LOLSo, that's how I got all my birdies on this pellet. I keep a small bowl in their cages and I can hear them crunching away at it throughout the day. Especially in the morning! A good balance for all the soft food that I feed them from their whole food chop.I had seen this product before, knew that it was a rice-based PELLET, but couldn't find it any store. In my research, I forgot about this one because Harrison's and TOP's (and a couple others) have better marketing. Tried all of those but more Expensive and though good, none of my birds would ever just eat a TOP's pellet, it being mostly alfalfa (like a rabbit pellet) or any of the other pellets. I had to mix it in their chop. This is the first one that they actually ate, (albeit, not at first!) but maybe it was because they've been on a soft diet for so long now? I don't know. But I know that I will be using THIS pellet from now on! :)

Good food!!! Pretty colors!!
Great food. However I’m not sure if my budgies like it or not didn’t seem as though they didn’t eat any of it. So I mixed it with their bird seed. It may have helped but I’ll try to continue with this to see if there’s a difference in their appetite for it.

Parakeets never grow tired of this
I purchased this food for my EXTREMELY picky parakeets. I have been transitioning them off of their all seed diet (they are rescues and that is all they were fed before I got them) over the past 8 months. While I do not like the artificial coloring, it did get them interested to the point where they played with the food before realizing it was edible. They eat this food up and seem to enjoy it and never grow tired of it.

Good pellet for gluten free homes
The only gluten free pellet, safe for celiac home that I have found. They like this pellet too. My birds prefer the budgie size to the cockatiel sized as would be appropriate for them.

Good price but my birds won't/can't eat it
Budgies/parakeets are very picky eaters and mine wouldn't eat this. I was going to grind this up in my food processor and sprinkle it in with their veggie chop. It would not chop. It was way too hard, I am not surprised now that my birds aren't eating it. If a high-speed knife cannot chop this up how is my bird supposed too? It might be ok with a cockatiel, but really, it might be better to skip this one because the colors are not really good for them anyway.I needed something quick and affordable and this is what I landed on. I figured I'd try it. I won't be purchasing this again.

Perfect size for Budgies
This is only 1 of 5 foods that I use as a treat for my 4 budgies. These are so little, the perfect size for budgies or smaller birds. They smell fruity, my birds seem to enjoy them. Edit: Candy used to show size of treats.

Birds didn't touch one bit of it
after reading the reviews I felt like this would be a really good fit for my birds but they completely turn their nose away at it instead I got the best parakeet food ever by Dr something and it has been the best thing ever but not this.... This weird colorful whatever it is mixture of supposedly healthy food is too processed in my opinion that the birds won't even touch it but they are very picky and only prefer a seed only base diet so maybe that is why?
