Originally i had intended to get a full socket to replace existing sockets. Then i read their reviews about the inability to individually control plug adapters. I agreed, seems less than optimal to make both shut off or turn on at same time.So I opted for these. to be able to individually control plugs.OMG, LOVE THEM! If you have Alexa get these asap!First was living room lamps on each side of sofa. Then entry lamp and then Christmas tree, then christmas lights, then... LOLNo only can you control them individually but you can do them in groups.Walking out of kitchen to living room, you tell alexa "turn on living room lights" they all come on. If you then walk out room you can leave them on until you have left the room and then tell alexas to turn them off.Go to kitchen at night to get something to drink before bed? alexa turn on living room lights, or turn on first floor lights, or turn on snack lights ot light a "path". then get your items and turn off when back in bed.No more turning on lights on your way walking part way in dark, or turning off on return, part way in dark!I am having major flashbacks to when remote controls first came out for Televisions! (yes the "clickers" as they were called) it wasnt long and all TVs had remotes and getting up to change a channel or volume was a "chore". Same now with lights/Lamps and anything that uses electricity!Any switches or lights I havent yet converted feel like walking up to that old TV dial and listeningto it click as you turned the knob in a circle LOLOn the tech side, these were the EASIEST wifi items to connect to Alexa of any items I have added! About as close to plug and play as it comes!I will eventually have these on every outlet that is being used im sure.You can also set timers so christmas lights go off at certain times if you want. And you an also set up a schedule for lights should you be gone (and control them remotely!)These were the most cost effective, easiest to setup and dependable wifi additions to our smart home setup.Love them and recommend them!

I was looking for an affordable wifi smart plug, compatible with Alexa and this fit the bill. I received the two pack on July 13 and set them up in the living room for the lamps by the sofa. So far, everything is working as expected and I'm so pleased with them. Easy set up and installation and programmed them for an on and off schedule. One criteria I needed was for the app to be compatible with my Android 4.1 cell phone (and this is!). I hope this information helps anyone else with an older Android, as I know a lot of the apps require a newer version.

It’s pretty dark when I leave home in the morning and it gets dark by the time I return from work.My pup doesn’t like being in dark for too long so I bought these smart plugs so I can program few lamps around the home. I have been using these smart plugs for the last 45 days.Initial set-up needs to be done by connecting to 2.4GHZ Wi-Fi network but after that, I was able to control/manage them connecting via 5 GHz Wi-Fi-network or LTE network.I like the fact that I can control these plugs remotely 25 miles away via LTE network.Here are few things I noticed…1) When my internet connection (router) was down, these plugs of-course went off-line but when the internet service was restored, these plugs came back on-line without my intervention.2) I did encounter issues with the app when I connect to my work Wi-Fi network so I usually operate the app connecting to LTE / 4G network3) You can schedule these plugs to turn-on & off multiple times per dayOverall I am very pleased with these most economical smart plugs and I would absolutely recommend them!

This plug is very well designed. It is smaller than the pictures suggest. It does not block both outlets, making it more useful than some larger plugs out there. Also, the manual activation button is on the side next to the status LED. That makes it very easy to access even when both outlets are occupied.Since this plug connects over wifi, it does not require any smart hub. Once setup through the Tuya app, it can be added to Alexa. Voice control is very fast and easy. So far the wifi connection has been stable. We have another brand of wifi plug that drops connection every so often that requires rebooting. I recommend this wifi plug if you're looking for a simple plug to use with Alexa.

Just got my Denkinmax mini smart plug for wifi. Really solid build quality and I love that it doesn't take up the other plug on the outlet. Currently using it for my coffee maker, I just say, "Alexa, turn on the coffee pot" and my coffee is ready in moments! Great for those mornings you just don't wanna get up!

Great value!! I already had the Dekinmax Color bulbs so I tried the Smart Plug as well. Setup was a snap and just like the bulbs I was up and running in minutes. Easily added to app and then via the Amazon Echo skill was able to control the smart plug just like the bulbs. It works flawlessly on the Amazon Echo. Compared to other smart products out there Dekinmax products are a great value at a fraction of the cost of competitors and work just as good, if not better. I highly recommend trying these!! If you want simple setup and control without having to purchase a Smart Hub these are a great direction to go in.

I have been using this little plug in outlet for about a week now and it's great! It is TINY! I have use many other plug in switches in the past but they always block both outlets or require a lot of excess space. This one leaves plenty of space for use of the other plug in the outlet for whatever else you need to plug in. MUCH better than other smart plugs out there!Using the Tuya app I was up and running with this plug in no time! Super simple to control on and off and schedule a time for it to go on and off. Lastly....if you want Amazon Echo control..just enable the skill and you can ask Alexa to shut it on and off. Super simple and I will be buying some more of these to put around my home!
