These a just the right size for testing mechanical advantage with small pulleys. Works well and is a good size.

Perfect for home school lab projects for force & weight. Durable enough to last for several projects, but not too complicated for tweens to use.

I wanted a reasonably priced set with both g and N markings for students to use. They worked well and were easy to read.

I was going to use them for development of a prototype where appearance is important.

Good quality and worked well

I purchased this product for homeschoolers to use in our PSciencent 6 Piece Math Economy Hanging Spring Scale Sethysics class. These were just what we needed. Durable, and do what we need them to. They were packaged well without damages and their customer service is fantastic. If you are looking for something affordable, reliable, and know that the customer service will be great if you need them, then buy these!

Results are not so accurate as it depends on the strength of the spring and its calibration. Different capacitieslike 250, 500, 1, 2 ... make it closer to accurate. However it's very nice tool to teach kids about Newtonian view of forces like gravity, friction and how they can be measured using tension in the spring.

Be sure you know they're all different from each other. Each one measures a different rate. I made a mistake thinking it was a group of all the same rate tools. I wanted my groups of kids to each use one to measure the same thing but we had to end up sharing. Other than that they are good for a classroom setting to use as a spring scale or measuring Newtons.

Excellent condition for a scratch and dent product (damaged packaging); will work well for school science projects.

Variety of different weight range and quick and timely delivery

I like how accurate these scales are for each weight range. I wish I'd bought these before investing in a digital scale that isn't nearly as accurate as these.What I don't like is that for one of the scales the plastic barrel is scratched and discolored and the bottom is damaged. That's why I'm giving only 4 stars. But it still works fine, so I'm not going to make a fuss about it.

Good enough.. not for precision work

works relatively well for lightweight objects, good range provided by the available weight limits of each unit, not accurate enough to write a thesis off of but will give a solid +/- range reading of confidence each time. Works as advertised will measure what it says to within an accurac7y you would expect for the price
