Die and Guide Set 20mm 25 mm,Electric Conduit Threading Stock Set of 7 Pieces

Needed for diy use, so had to be low cost. Fine at this price. Works ok so far, but not sure how long the die will last - certainly cuts well at the moment. Having said that, replacement dies are not a lot… it’s the guide and frame which will last forever. I’m only likely to use 20mm, so will probably never even try the 25mm. You need a good pipe clamp - and found a good one on here about £25 which works great, despite some of the poor reviews. You don’t need to spend a lot to get a good professional finish. The only thing I couldn’t find was a good budget pipe bender, so June all gave to be cut-&-box corners.

Lightweight in comparison to other makes. Dies are sharp enough to do the job. Has been good enough so far.

Needed this to cut a new thread on an old whitworth weather vien , to make it fit a metric nut & was excellent , cut really easily & is very well made.

Great little compact set..... I bought this for a single job where customer wanted surface conduit in a summerhouse.... Keep it clean and loads of cutting fluid and she works a treat.....

Cuts well. Not sure on longevity yet.

Cut fifty threads so far and still sharp

We actually ended up breaking a vice in the process of trying to use this to thread the pipe. We ended up returning the product as it wasn’t fit for purpose.

I have used a lot of stock and die sets. but this one is not really that great. I have to change the blade on it really fast.

Tried on 25mm steel conduit and it Only threads if conduit is cut dead straight too much hassle other threaders thread much easier
