Terrible Product - do not buy
Awful product - zero stars! I've had the regular Got-Cha for about 3 years and have not had any issues. I have truly enjoyed it and wanted to purchase an additional gotcha for my girlfriend. This was the product I purchased for her and it has been a very disappointing experience. This gotcha started glitching 1 week into having it. It would inconsistently work and disconnect from devices and then the battery charge and life would no longer last an hour. 3 weeks into having the product the gotcha completely died. It no longer charges and has been off. We have attempted all trouble shooting with no luck. Do not buy this product - waste of money!

Worked for a week, now it’s buggy AF
Waste of money. It only connects like 30% of the time, it disconnects with no warning, the button is too sensitive so the settings change by accident ALL the time, the battery only lasts for about 5 hours (with vibrations and onscreen notifications turned OFF), and it’s impossible to use on the go. I will be returning this as soon as I find another option.

Good idea horrible implementation
An auto catcher on your wrist is a great idea and when it’s working it does that. That said the battery has lasted less time with each recharge. When you can get it to recharge because the magnetic charging cord will fall off if a stiff breeze blows by. When you can connect to it, it resets the options you set at random. And probably the worst part, it does not stay connected to Pokemon Go continuously. It will randomly tell you it has disconnected and you have to go back in and connect it. Of course you are walking around with it not paying attention to your phone so it doesnt do its main function A LOT.

Pairs with phone quickly
Nice watch fit, not noticeable when catcher is catching Pokémon. You can pick what you want caught/spinning. Great gift, my son loves it.

Charging simply sucks, but if you get it connected, it works
Update after 3 days - the wrist band pin that adjust tightness and is a tiny thin piece of plastic boke day 2 - since it has a unique siz band it means no more wrist. It's so tiny n cheap....arrggg... The charging is just completely cumbersome getting pins aligned - I've given up on this thing - though when working it did catch n spin... Original review: The documentation is super poor. If you get it functioning (took me the better part of 30 min to read n research), it works. The worst part about the thing is the magnetic power connection which needs to be connected daily at least once. With the rigid cord, and the device mounted in the wrist band, it's super hard to get it charging. Worse yet, there's no visible feedback that it's charging except a battery icon that flashes on once, then cuts out. Touch, bump, or breath heavy on the connection and it loses contact.

Too many problems.
Battery life is terrible. Since the only way to carry it is on your wrist it is too easy to end up changing the settings. I looked everywhere for a case with no luck. It is really easy to catch the latch on the wristband & undo it. It also will not stay paired with the phone so needs to be repaired which is not easy while driving. Needs some changes made.

Works great but charging is finicky
First off this thing works great I'm constantly moving at work so this catches me loads of things while I'm working. Now let's get to the bad about this product, charging! This thing is a pain to charge sheesh!! Have to set it perfectly but the worst is how small the charger is, makes it extra difficult to charge it. Regardless good product with some downsides

I’ve used these for years and never had any real problems with them but the latest version, in spite of boasting a colour display and a battery meter, is a significant downgrade on the older model. The battery life is less than half what the old one gives (I have one of each at present) and it seems to run out quite abruptly in spite of the warning meter. When the battery runs out, it’s nearly impossible to position the short wire in such a way that the weak magnet in the charge cable will actually keep the device on the charger and if you set it down whilst charging more than half the time the charger turns about a millimetre and the device disconnects so you leave it charging and come back to find that the battery is still empty because the charger has disconnected. It’s also possible to put it on the charger upside down so it won’t charge at all. The old slide-in charger design wasn’t perfect but it did at least work above 50% of the time. I use it with the vibrate feature turned off but the screen is really sensitive so if you even brush against the device lightly or it touches anything (like your sleeve or a desk or something - real risks if worn on the wrist but worse if you have a fob-type holder) then it turns itself on with a loud and violent vibrate which apparently drains the battery. So to summarise, it won’t charge properly, even from full the battery only lasts about 4 hours on a good day, and it’s noisy and intrusive. The old one was so nice. I would quite happily have just bought another.

An autocatcher is such a great idea - especially for while driving... but unfortunately the Go-tcha classic has too many issues for me. I purchased 2 devices - one for me (I use a Samsung S22 ultra) and one for my partner (iphone) and although I believe my particular device was faulty it's apparent in the "working" device the following, already pointed out by other reviews... 1. Very difficult to charge. A weak magnet on a short usb cable, that has to be right in a specific position and then it falls out every time. 2. Battery once charged doesn't last long. 3. Constantly looses connection and needs to re-paired. 4. Very slow to catch pokemon, and prioritises catching over poke stops, so misses spinning poke stops which is frustrating. My "faulty" device would only connect if it was connected to the charger... I should say would occasionally connect if connected to the charger. Then would drop out in less than 5mins. Too many connection issues. I am really hoping a different brand of device will work better. I won't be buying a replacement go-tcha.
