These boots fit well on my bulk CAT6 and they seem like quality parts. However, they are very stiff and do not flex much at all. That defeats the purpose of a stress relief. If they don't flex a little, they just move the stress point out from the connector a little and the cable bends in the same way, just in a different spot. I have used other boots in the past which did not have this problem. Would not recommend.

So I had problems with a WiFi antenna I bought, and my roommate's WiFi card went out at the same time.I had 500' of Cat5e cable in my closet from a previous job, so I got these plus a Cable Tester and Crimper. These are actually decent, and do a good job hiding my on-par cable work. Since, you know, these were only my second and third cable I made.

Ok, so first you need to strip the cable and have the wires out a few inches. Then do a small slice in the cable sheath so you can pinch it together when trying to get the jacket on. Put some Vaseline on it in advance and work the heck out of it and eventually it will go on. Vaseline almost always worked when trying to get big items in small areas!

Prevents the cat5/6 clip from catching on everything when you pull a cable. I've broken many release tabs on my cables over the years. These work as intended. They fit snug and look add a level of professionalism to the finished cable.

They are ok but pretty cheap quality. if you want something that feels solid i recommend u get something else, but if u dont care they still work. they are so flimsy that they dont even sit right , u have to wiggle and pull on a side to get it to look even.

Bought these to add them some custom network cables that i was running around my house. They really improve the apperance of the cables given them that professional look. The color matches very well to the orange monoprice cable that i used as well.

so far so good. Shipped on time and was as expected, but the tab protector isn't very deep or tall to be able to cover the cable connector that I have. This may just be an application issue but for me it isn't ideal. Still made will good solid rubber and easy to slide on the cable. Worth giving them a shot for he price and quantity.

They do their job perfectly fine. However, though im not entirely sure about this, but the plastic used for this might not stand the test of time. Not that it maters much considering the cost of these.
