For some reason I thought this was going to be a mini backpack, I wanted something water resistant, lightweight, and roomy enough to store a hoodie. This backpack can fold into itself and zip up for easy carrying in your purse or luggage or even another backpack. Unfolded though, it's almost full size and very light-weight, it has lots of little zipper compartments especially in the small front pouch. There is a zipper part, and a little mesh pocket, good for holding your keys.The inside has two pockets, a smaller which is good for your electronics and a big front pouch for pretty much anything. The side mesh pockets can hold a tall bottled water and make for easy reachable access. I've used this backpack for hiking at least four times now and I can hardly tell I'm wearing it, even when it's full of snacks and clothes.Not bad for the price.

This is a near perfect paypack. The large main compartment has a sleeve big enough for a 15 inch laptop, with plenty of room to spare for the charger, somelight books, and other miscellaneous necessities. The upper external pocket is great for small items like wallets and passports, notebooks or pens. The lower compartment has is divided into two sections by another zippered mesh pocket, and encloses the handle which I use as a point to clip my keys on a carabiner.The packable nature which allows the pack to fold into a tiny bag means that there isn't much padding, so be careful putting delicate items inside. It is best to use a padded laptop sleeve or similar cases for cameras, etc that you might store in the bag. There are also mesh pockets on each side for water bottles and attachment rings on the shoulder straps.I have a few complaints. The wistle function on the cross strap does not really work. The bag couid benefit from a pen organizer for things like a small flashlight and a tide to go pen, which I usually carry. The zippers are chep and the fabric around them is constantly getting caught.Overall, a very nice bag for the money.

I bought this travel backpack to use during shore excursions on a cruise. If you can't tell, it doesn't come with a separate pouch—it folds up into the bottom pocket on the outside of the backpack, which made it VERY convenient! Sometimes, I would keep it in its pouch but put it into my travel purse (the kind that goes across your body instead of wearing a fanny pack). It didn't take up a lot of room, and I didn't have to wear it until I started buying things. (I HATE carrying around things that I don't need, so I loved being able to take it with me until I needed it.)I carried this thing everywhere. Seriously. Rather than bringing a carry on bag, I put my laptop, change of clothes, miscellaneous items, etc. in this backpack and took it on the plane. It stayed with me until I got to the ship terminal and went to my stateroom. After that, I took it on the boat when I went snorkeling in the Bahamas. It's water resistant, so the light spray from the ocean didn't bother anything inside. (I did put a cold bottle of water inside it and the condensation leaked through, so it's definitely not waterproof.After that, I kept it with me in St. Thomas, where I later shoved it full of heavy bottles of alcohol (tax and duty free!) and souvenirs. The zipper was pulling, but it never tore.After that, it went with me to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and I went shopping and snorkeling again with it in Grand Turk. Then I filled it up again to use as a carry on when I came home.Oh, I forgot to mention all of the POCKETS! There is the main part of the backpack which has a pocket where I put my laptop. Then there is the large pocket on the front (which goes all the way behind the small pocket—it's a LOT of room!), and then the small pocket on the front. The two pockets on the sides were great for carrying bottles of water!! If anything I had too much room rather than not enough!Needless to say, this backpack works well. I'll probably get another one so I can have more than one color. The purple backpack is true to the color on the screen. This was a great price for what it is. I can't recommend this enough!

This little backpack is awesome. It's ultra light, it has numerous very useful zip compartments and pockets - which not a lot of ultra light back packs have! - it has two side pockets for things like water bottles, and it has a whistle on it's front sternum clip too! I've used it a ton, it's pleasing to the eye, and I would definitely recommend for traveling, hiking, and tourist-ing! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I zip and unzip quickly, the seam of the main pocket gets caught in the zipper 4 times out of 5. So it can be kind of annoying but it hasn't kept me from using it. It also started to fray a little bit from the inside stitching of the seam, but nothings come undone or unraveled to any appreciable extent (could also be from me catching it in the zipper so much and handling it roughly). Love it!
