and purchased Dalva - so glad I did
When we were traveling the Upper Peninsula of Michigan last summer, I picked up a book by Jim Harrison called The Way Home. He had recently passed away, and being from that area, his books were everywhere. I was hooked on the first page, but realized there was a book he had written before it, called Dalva. So I put The Way Home aside, and purchased Dalva - so glad I did. This writer is so complex, so poetic and so interesting that you need to give it a long, slow read to really enjoy it. The family and other characters are so memorable, the terrain and lifestyles so clear that you will remember this story and these people long after you lay it down. Then read The Way Home. Enjoy!!

Dalva, imprescindible.
