There are going to be several classes your going to have to use power-point/google-docs for when you go to college. Whether it is a presentation on economics or simple showing off what you did over the summer, a slideshow can be very important to getting a decent grade for a class. To help with this, a remote to switch back and forth between slides is quite helpful. It gives one the ability to move around a bit and not be stuck behind a computer. With me, I did not want to keep a. going without one or b. borrowing one.Purchasing this remote has been quite helpful. No more borrowing for me! The laser pointer is surprisingly powerful and I have been able to switch between all my slides without a miss, good connection from near and far. For the price, capability, and quality, I can honestly say I am satisfied with my purchase. As long as this remote keeps it together, i'll continue being a happy camper. Have fun with your slideshows ya'll and get an A+! Also, as previously mentioned, the laser pointer is pretty powerful so no shooting people in the eyes, even the annoying ones.

I use this to run PowerPoint at our church. The computer usually is near the pulpit or in the back with our sound equipment. I am able to sit with the congregation and the remote always works. It has a holder for the usb dongle. The dongle is built well and decently sized making it easy to setup. I recommend this remote to other less expensive remotes that are cheaply made and small dongle that could be lost or break. This remote is easy to setup and easy to use. I've had a number of these remotes and this one, so far, seems to be the best of the litter. Worked out of the box without any major prep. I did give the instructions a quick review, but it was hardly worth the time. If you do a lot of presenting, this unit will fit the bill.

The unit is a close replacement to one that was stolen, but I was disappointed in the laser brightness. Even in a darkened room, the laser “dot” is difficult to find.

Product works perfectly! Simple and easy to navigate, love the receiver housing feature, and it works at a surprisingly far distance. It even has a blackout screen feature if needed during a presentation and picks up right where one has left off when proceeding. The batteries are easy to put in and remove. No problems with the product and great customer service! Don't waist money on an expensive PowerPoint remote, when this one works just as good. I highly recommend this product.

This product was exactly what I was looking for: I just needed something simple that would allow me to go from slide to slide on my PowerPoint while I wandered around my classroom teaching. This was perfect for that! I'm not good with tech, but this was easy to connect to my laptop (just a little flashdrive), and since it runs on batteries and only has a few buttons, it was very straightforward.

This product is virtually identical to the Logitech R400, works beautifully and comes in a high quality carrying case. The case alone is listed elsewhere for $9, yet it comes free with the wireless presenter by Amerteer. It is by far the best buy for remote presenters that work with PPT. I use it in my class daily.
