Bought this for my wife’s Jeep because for the sky rocketing fuel prices. Obviously it’s not impervious and if someone really wants to steal her gas they will. The idea was to act as a detriment and hopefully someone would pass it up and move one to something quicker. It’s nice to be able to pull the key out and leave it unlocked if you wish.

Great cover! Sits flush and feels sturdy. No instructions were included, but there’s a lot of great videos on YouTube.A few tips:- Some videos instruct you to pull off the fuel neck seal before removing the old cover, but since this comes with a new seal, you can skip that take the cover off and the old one will come off with it. It was a lot easier than removing them separately.- You can also remove the top cover via the hex screws to expose the inner cover. It was a little easier to manipulate and get a secure fit without the extra bulk in the way.- There are 2 small plastic “pins” that stick out…1 was on the side and there was a hole on the Jeep for it, but the other was on the top and there wasn’t a hole, so I had to snap it off. Maybe some models have a hole for it, but mine didn’t.

Easy to install and use on a 2010 Jeep JKU.However... the gasket is not tight on the filler neck. This causes the neck to slide down a bit and make it difficult to screw in the Gas cap. Not too big of an issue, just be aware of this and check that the cap is in all the way.

No, instructions or help number. I watched a few videos, and did my best. If I did it right, the fit is lo to ok. If I have it installed wrong, I guess it is the companies fault. Highly considered returning it. Wish I would have.

Best purchase ever! Easy to install. Not a struggle to unlock while keeping your fuel safe.

This product is a piece of junk. It spins and leaves 1/8th of an inch gap between the body and the cover. Didn’t receive a new seal or an allen wrench as pictured. You do not need an allen key for install however.

Nice looking and easy to install. The only one thing, why I put 4 stars is that supplied rubber gasket is too big, I just left original it fits perfectly in new cover.

Purchased because I kept having gas syphoned from me jeep , installed this locking cover and it works great , doesn’t sit perfectly flush on the vehicle but it’s close enough and does it’s intended job!
