I bought this for my 3 year old for swim lessons because he would get so cold in the pool that he would start chattering and shaking. He is on the small side so I got a size 2, which was a tight fit but works for him. I'll need to buy the next size up in a few months because he'll grow out of it soon. It works well keeping him warm in the pool and even gives him a little extra buoyancy. He has also worn it to the beach and it keeps him comfortable and protected from the salt and sand.Mom tip: when teaching your toddler how to put it on, have them put on the legs first, and then put their arms in while you hold it down behind them BOTH ARMS AT THE SAME TIME, and then pull it up over their shoulders. Saves you from some weird stuck elbows.

Wonderful price for a good quality swimsuit. My daughter enjoys wearing it particularly in the cold ocean water of the Pacific. Size was right on although my daughter is on the smaller size for her age.
