TINTIN PETIT FORMAT 16 OBJECTIF LUNE

This relates to this French language version only. I wont comment on Tintin itself as I have no gripe with the contents, however having placed my order I found that when it ( and another ) arrived it was much smaller than I expected. Instead of the normal French (and English) A4 sized comic book , these were more A5 size, only slightly bigger than a paperback. Drawings and text were as a result much smaller and compressed, I found difficulty in reading the story line.Nothing in the description that I could see says ' beware this is a reduced size version...' ) check before you buy.A disappointment due to its reduced scale.

Fantastic designs, wonderful colours, a classic of the 1950's (long before America landed on the Moon). A joy to have and a great way to read French. I used this book in my French club to engage children in French-speaking culture. They really loved the lesson.

As usual with Herge's Tintin books the illustrations are amazing and the storytelling very effective. This particular story is the most imaginative and exiting we have read so far . This is a two parter so we shall be ordering the next book sone!
