Paul Yandell was Chet's sideman for over 20 years and I had the pleasure of meeting him at one of Chet's visit's in London. My son and I were in the upper circle of the theatre -name of which escapes me -and by mistake we left after the show via the wrong door which took us down some stairs and onto the stage. Paul was very gracious and Chet appeared and did sign our programme.This book is great and contains many of Paul's compositions which hitherto were not very well known to me.It is backed up by a CD with the actual guitar playing of Paul and Craig Dobbins,the author, has transcribed the tabs plus music faithfully as recorded.A must for all finger pickers-don't hesitate!
