I only have a small patch of lawn so this mower is perfect. With a small lawn the ability to strafe the mower (move it sideways, only possible with hover mowers) trumps a larger bag sizeThis mower was relatively easy to assemble but took a little time. The manual is actually quite innovative. It has your standard pages of text-based content in terms of what to do, but at the back are all the 'figs' (images of assembly, e.g: "figure 1"). The back sheet of figs folds out long-ways so you can reference it whilst also reading the main manual's content. Might seem like a small thing but made assembly a breezeThe manual shows that the mower comes with three spacers for adjusting cut height. When you first look at the adjustment / blade-removal spanner you might be confused, as it 'appears' to only have one spacer. Rest assured you get all three!The single spacer on the spanner is actually two snapped together, so there's one and two. The third one is actually inside of the mower and you need to remove the blade assembly to take it outThis mower is a hover mower, but I'd still recommend running it with NO spacers. As the grass compartment fills it gets heavier and rides slightly lower, so be sure to remove the spacer which is pre-installed in the mower. Adding spacers makes the cut lower (shorter) and removing spacers makes the cut higher (longer grass)For the price you can't really argue. The majority of reviews on this product are good which was why I bought it but my advice would be, don't ignore the bad reviews on this product. This is the worst lawnmower I have ever used. It fails in multiple areas. Firstly, despite being relatively light, the 1500W motor is not powerful enough to make it hover well. As one other reviewer put it, it is like dragging a dead dog around the lawn and I completely understand where that person was coming from! The side to side movement is non-existent without quite a lot of force on the handles and you have to keep the safety cut-out depressed whilst applying this force so only a matter of time before that breaks as well. So you end up mowing in straight lines like a rotary mower because that is the only way it moves easily. Secondly, grass collection is awful. The grass collection box is too small to handle even small lawns. Sometimes it fills up all the way and sometimes it half fills and then starts throwing grass clippings everywhere. When I mowed my very small back lawn yesterday, despite emptying the half full grass collection basket twice, by the end of the mow I had grass clippings all over the lawn, all over the patio, and even inside the greenhouse as the airflow blew grass in the small gaps between the greenhouse and its base. It took longer clearing all that up than it did mowing. Thirdly, the mower blade is so far in from the edge of the mower you can forget about mowing close to the edge of a fence or wall. You will need to go around with a strimmer afterwards to do the edges. Fourthly, as others have said, it doesn't fold easily for storage. I am going to try to return this. If Amazon won't accept it back then I will bin it and buy something better from somewhere else--it really is that bad.

Had a Flymo previously which had done it's job well but had come to the end of its days. Looked around and read the reviews and this one seemed well rated. Early days yet but all seems good . Particularly like how the handle folds back on itself making storage more compact.

I’ve only given this 3 stars because when it starts up to mow your lawn it makes a banging noise as if the motor is gonna blow up I don’t know if it’s supposed to be that loud but I’m sure it’s not so given it a 3 and that’s being generous because I can see us buying a new one from different make as it don’t sound too good 😌

Great lawn mower but the assembly does need two people.Attaching the two orange tops to the handle can be taxing as the threads on the bolt are not the best.

Very east to use, good value for money.
