Leverage is the best tool in every toolbox.
I bought this 'wrench extender' or 'cheater bar' because the master tech at my job let me use his for breaking loose stubborn jam nuts on inner tie rods. I haven't scraped or banged my elbows on the alignment rack since I started using it, and I consider it the next strongest thing to the oxy-acetylene rig. It's way more secure than the old school method of double-wrenching, and the fact that it can slide up/down the length of the wrench keeps you from being locked into the longest extension if you don't have quite that much space to work. The handle is more ergonomic than even the wrench itself. I haven't had to use the 1/2" drive hole yet, but I can only imagine the kind of torque that would yield! My new ritual is now: 1. pre-soak with PB Blaster for several minutes, 2. select the proper size wrench, 3. lock on the extender.I paid less buying it on Amazon than he did buying from the Snap-on dealer; naturally. I have the larger and smaller models saved on my wish list in case the need arises.

Awesome Tool for Adding More Leverage!
I work on cars/trucks/tractors as a side hobby and always used cheater pipes on my box wrenches, which I didn't like doing for safety reasons -- but it worked. I was told about this tool and I had to get one. They offer a medium and a long length, but I went with the small length as I got XL wrenches. It has been super handy getting off rusted on fasteners that I would not be able to otherwise get off. I even used it the other day to remove O2 sensors (chopped the plug off, and got my 6 point XL 22mm with the wrench extender and took it right off!). Glad they invented these!

This tool is excellent. Has a slight bend into the handle to use with offset box wrenches!
Its amazing how good this item works. It has a bend made near the middle to use with a double ended offset box wrench. Also, i love the 1/2 Drive feature on it for a breaker bar if you need even more leverage. This tool may cause carnage, and you really should not love your wrenches when you use this but it worked WAYYYYY better than I ever would have thought it would. Excellent product and gain, thank you!!!

Great for High Torque Applications
Make sure to have a good grip on the bolt or you will slip with this and perhaps hurt yourself. However, that is a user error. What is not so great is some wrenches above 24mm do not fit with this one, and I have found situations where I wish that was a possibility. Maybe that is a sign that I need to hit the weight room. Either way, it is a must-have to break most bolts and it is highly durable.

Great tool
I use to double wrench and end up bashing my knuckles when they slipped. This tool is slick and I use the hell out of it!

Must have for any toolbox
Great for doing alignments, breaks stubborn locknuts loose with ease and if needed you can attach your breaker bar to it. (The nut will round before this will even think about flexing) Also if there's something you want to torque but can't squeeze a socket in there, you can use this with your wrench to torque it (if you're into that kind of thing lol) better price than the tool trucks and is a very basic tool, the days of double wrenching are over.

A must have, IMHO
This has been a great addition to my mechanics tool. Borrowed one from a friend, knew I needed to have one. It works great on rusted suspension nuts and bolts where there isn’t room for a regular breaker bar and socket but enough room to get a box end on. Sure it has limitations to the wrench sizes it can be used with (I use it most for 17mm-24mm). Much better than using a pipe and marring up my combo wrenches or worse using too much torque and busting a wrench. If I need to exert more force than this, I need to use other options.

Works great and less dangerous than using a second wrench or a breaker bar. The Mac guy and the SnapOn guy sell these like hotcakes, but Amazon has it for much cheaper. Good quality material and causes less stress on the wrench.
