Cheap and easy. My son lost the remote for our 2015 Sony TV that lives on the porch. It's old, has dead pixels, but is nice to have outside. I didn't want a universal remote, I didn't want to spend a bunch of money, I just wanted something that works. This is that.

Puppy in the house, have bought a few controllers. This controller was the easiest to set up (just install batteries) and works great.Excellent.

It’s light, cheap plastic circa all things now; but, I unwrapped it, moved batteries from the heavy and expensive BROKEN remote to this one and BAM it worked right away. It’s not EXACT. There’s a couple buttons missing that I used before so that’s frustrating, but the option is there somewhere else, just no longer a one-touch option. For the money, it got here in 3 days, and I am done having to use an app on my phone.

Works perfect. Exact replacement for broken remote. Add battery and go.

This really did work straight out of the box. I was desperate to help a friend set up their new TV because their home burned down. He said one of the things that would make him happy after this ordeal was to sit on a comfy couch and watch TV. He had been gifted a giant Sony TV from 2017, but I had no idea what model it was. I took a chance on this remote. It did exactly what it said it would. I got next day delivery on a weekend and it arrived on time. I installed the included batteries. Then, I pushed the power button and the TV turned on. I almost cried with relief. It was so incredibly easy.
