Which length would be better for someone with a standard size hospital bed and an adjustable XL twin mattress?

I got the 160 inch ladder and it works great I also have a XL twin mattress. I am 6 ft. 2 inches

Will it work on a bed that doesn't have the standard bed frame?

As long as there is some sort of bed frame or posts underneath to wrap it around it should work.

How does one determine which of the two lengths to order? Based on patient size? Bed size? Anything else?

My physical therapist friend who installed my bed rope said to tell you to buy the 160 inch ladder. You have to find the bed frame underneath the end of the bed and wrap that length around it and pull it tight. Having more length to wrap and tie is best.
