They are good for the hair I have now. I used to use an Afro-pick. They are comfortable, portable andwork well with short hair.

Quick, easy, and portable retro hair comb
After finally remembering these from when I was a kid, I was thrilled to find that they still exist. If you don't have a need for a hair brush, these are perfect as they are small and can be taken anywhere. Keeping in mind that these are all plastic and will probably dry out and crack at some point, it is nice to know that a 12 pack is so reasonably priced. I will have these for a very long time and keep one wherever I need it.

Love these. Had a beautician in California use this on my curly hair for distributing my conditioner. It smoothed my hair and helped to keep it from getting frizzy after styling. Great for massaging your scalp.
