I was looking for something that I could just grab and use with my kiddo on the weekends and on holiday breaks that didn't require me creating or printing out. The binding is secure and the pages are thick. Overall I'm happy with this book.

I like the extra practice it provides kids to learn irregular words.

Some of the words in the book were were not true red words. They could be sounded out.Misleading.

I must admit I have never heard of red words or Orton Gillingham red words. Words that are not pronounced out loud but it sounds like fun to know learn a bit more about them even as an adult. But I am getting this book for my nephews and nieces to help them with their grammar. I loved the illustrations in the book, this will be fun for kids and will help keep their attention. For parents who are home schooling their kids or those with learning disabilities. This book is perfect for taking breaks between lessons so you have a few minutes to yourself before the next lesson. For transparency, I got an ARC of this book.
