Works pretty good
Keeps most of the sun out and you cant see inside during the day time as described. Not super hard to install once you get the hang of it but it is difficult to get it perfect. If you are super nitpicky and want perfect tint job you should probably just hire a company to do it for you.Make sure you have a good spray bottle because you need to cover the windows in soapy water for it to work properly. Besides that all you really need is a tape measure and something straight to help you cut the pieces out. A vacuum also helps to get all the hair/dust in the area up before you start.

Awesome during the day/sucks at night
PRO: This product works well during the day and nobody can see in, which is what I was looking for so I give that a 5 out of 5. I can’t tell you if it will save on my cooling bill yet as I installed this in late fall.CON: Since this is mirror tint, if you have the lights on in the house at night you can’t see out at all but everyone can see in. To fix that, you’ll need to close your blinds or curtains during the evening hours. Not a big issue, but it does suck if you hear something and need to peek outside. Just be sure to keep your lights off. So I give that portion 2 or 3 out of 5.OVERALL: This is a very good product and would probably buy it again. 😁

Great for privacy from pesky neighbors. Bonus: cooler temps in house
This was a game changer for my family. We got this to keep our neighbor from staring into our house. (She's a nutcase) The film works great!IMPORTANT: the film works best during daytime when the light outside is brighter than the inside. At night it acts like a tinted window and you can still see in slightly because of the sheerness - but it does still reduce visibility from. The outside even at night.I will say this, if you're installing it on large doors or windows, get someone to help you. I ended up getting the film stuck together at the bottom when I first tried by myself. My other tip is to start from the top and only remove the backing as you adhere it to the glass surface. It's great to spray the area first really well. Have someone hold up the top corners while you pull down on the back film to expose the adhesive to the surface. After I figured that out, installation was A LOT easier. Also, grabbing another squeegee is a nice idea to have two people getting out the air bubbles.Honestly, this has saved my family from a crazy nutcase behind us staring into our house during the day. So, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Almost forgot, we have also noticed that it keeps our south facing windows significantly cooler. Summer in Chicago can get hot so this came in handy!I'll add photos when it's bright out tomorrow!

Wasn"t as expected
My wife and I bought this for our house hoping it would help us. We live in Texas where it gets triple digits and we were hoping for even a little relief. Our home was built in1995 but has single pain windows and so we typically see 80-81* in our house in the summer even with our central ac set to 75* or lower. We researched window films, watched the thermal tests videos, and thought maybe this would help. We ordered the S05 film and got it all installed but no real difference. We even tried a thermal test after it was installed on both the outside and inside of the window with a temperature gun, but the temperature was still within 1 degree difference. Only thing that has helped us even a little was buying window blackout curtains. Hopefully it works better for others but for us we did all the windows of our house and no real difference here.I should add before we ever applied the tint we checked our windows and made sure all the caulking and seals were good. Recently we also added window blinds and that by far has made the most difference for us. I believe with double pane windows this tint would do a much better job at relieving some of the heat passing through. Our texas summers are brutal here so I'm sure that didn't work in our favor. As far as light filtering the tint does a pretty good job.

I have the silver it does block out the sun
I find that this an accurate description of the product. Yes it is sticky when pull the clear off. I found it easier to work with two people in putting this on. Our trick was to spray a lot at the top of the window, getting that lined up then as one person it holding it in place the other person is pulling the clear plastic down & off.

Literally the WORST Film EVER - Impossible
Let me start by saying I have installed a lot of window films and contact paper situations, I know how to get them perfect and without bubbles and creases. THIS FILM IS IMPOSSIBLE. I don't care what people say about 'being patient' because no amount of patience can solve this film's issues. First of all heaven forbid a piece of dust, or hair, or fur or anything get behind it while you are installing... there is NO removing that. The edges do not want to stay down. It keeps bubbles in it, no matter how you squeegee, they are these teeny tiny ones that just won't go away. It has permanent creases and crinkles in it from just the rolling of it in the box. Then it gets more of these when you put it on even if you never crease it or fold it, or do anything wrong. Like I said, I know how to put these on, I have no explanation for this film.It shows EVERY imperfection that your window might have too. And forget about turning on your lights.... because all of the issues will be in HD and so completely obvious.I just finished installing, and having seen others said it 'shrinks' after a day, I'm assuming I'll hate this more tomorrow. It also really doesn't work. Even during the BRIGHT mid-day sun, I can see the lights on in my room and even the TV. When you turn the lights on inside, during the day, it almost reflects more than the outside.I'm so mad I not only spent the money on this film, but also wasted time installing it. I will be trashing it as soon as new film arrives. What a waste.
