Perfect wheel casters for my upright piano
Why do so many pianos have tiny metal wheels that seem to be designed to destroy hardwood floors? These caster cups are wide enough to accommodate those small piano wheels, but low-profile enough to make the pedal height change almost unnoticeable. The foam mat on the bottom of the caster cups is good to protect the floors and for absorbing sound, but is not designed to allow for sliding the piano to a new location. If you want to move the piano a few inches or feet, have two or more people lift the piano just enough that you can slide the caster cups as you move the piano to its new position.

Nice quality
These are larger than i expected but not in a bad way. Each puck measures about 4" in diameter with a raised center ring to ensure your piano legs stay in place. The wood it is made of is super hardwood and the finish is the same color as my oak floors. The underside of each puck has an almost 3/16" thick layer of high quality dense rubber/foam. These will definitely protect my recently refinished floors. I am very happy with this purchase.

These are fantastic
We had hardwood flooring installed and needed something to put under the wheels of our EXTREMELY heavy antique piano to protect the new floor from scratching. These piano caster cups do the job beautifully. They have a smooth felt-like finish on the bottom that protects the floor, and I am extremely happy with the purchase.

Perfect for upright piano on new hardwood floors
These were purchased for an upright piano when replacing carpet with hardwood floors. The casters hold the piano wheels securely. Some care must be taken when sliding the piano around so that bumps don't cause the wheel to jump out of the caster, best to have two people to perform the maneuver. The casters raise the foot pedals of the piano slightly; you may consider this a good thing, neutral, or bad, depending on your stature and posture. I found the slightly higher position of the pedals beneficial.

Excellent
My family just moved across the country and had our baby grand piano shipped. We have hard wood floors and just paid to them sanded and refinished and we didn't want anything to scratch or damage the floor. these are perfect they match the finish we have on the floors and are strong and solid. We have no worries about our floor with these under the legs.
