Magnadyne VCS-10 | 5 Input 3 Output Video Switch Center | TV, Antenna, DVD, Satellite, AUX and Cable

We used this to replace the one that was removed from our 2005 RV by the original owners. As long as you know which wires to connect (antenna, cable, etc.) then connection is fairly easy.Only used one week, so quality seems good. Does not have a conventional plug, only a 12v? plug that can be wired in, which we didn’t do. It seems to work fine without hardwiring in (signal may be stronger if you do...don’t know, but it is good enough for us)....Maybe someone in tech could address this.It’s great to be able to switch between antenna and cable for the front and back of the coach with the push of a button vs. having to manually plug in and unplug coaxial wires. Also has a third hookup that we didn’t use.Do not stack switch box on top of your receiver if using a DISH receiver...this did cause the signal to be fuzzy. When used side by side the signal cleared up.The tv is a little fuzzier in the back bedroom, but this may be due to either having a coaxial cable or not being hardwired in as stated above.All in all this is a good product for us.

This was the only switchbox available to replace the worn-out one in my RV.The first one I received was defective, but it was replaced immediately. Thenew one works flawlessly, and provides all the inputs and outputs I need.The video quality is excellent.

All reviews say it doesn't need power hooked up but mine would not work without the power. Would not switch to DVD player. Also old unit had a power switch, this does not so I guess it's constantly draining power now or I have to put an inline switch to power. Don't get it. Tried calling customer service "Mail box full" so sent email to support I will see if they respond. Also had to switch buttons back and forth numerous time to get rear TV to switch to DVD player? Working for now but we will see but power issue is a problem I don't want a dead battery.Update. Tech support just got back to me and explained that the box will switch tv's without power, but in order to have the DVD work it does need power, but only draws 30mA. My 12 volt power is hooked to 12Volts that works when camper is in use, but once you put it in "Storage use" my power goes off so no drain when I'm not using the unit. Switchgear in an RV. Powered antenna switch latch broke. Unit was three years old, previous owners may have treated it poorly, do not know. Worked very well until then. Replaced it with this new unit. Very happy!

Love it. Finally a product that allows me to have multiple inputs to three outputs. So easy to set up and incredibly easy to use. Great product.

I went to install this product and the the last auxiliary spot broke off, I would not recommend this product. Unfortunately I was out of town and I was not able to install until this week.Not cool that this product failed so quickly.

My old switch went bad and I did not know if I could find another one. This was an exact match and eqst to install
