Locks in place!
I was trying to find a good replacement for our dead stern light. A friend told us about the Navisafe light. I originally ordered the magnetic version and mount which turned out to be a mistake as the magnet wasn't really strong enough to keep the light from slipping off. This mount option however works really well. It locks in place and holds the light without risking it falling overboard. Great mounting option! Only thing was it was kind of hard for me to find this because the magnetic version popped up in my search. I actually had to find a product catalog and then search by the product number.

Worked as described with the 340 Navilight. Only thing ...
Worked as described with the 340 Navilight. Only thing I would change is the nut that is used to clamp the two pieces together. The nuts are loose and there is a possibility that they may fall into the water when assembling. An idea would be to permanently install the nut into the base.
