Sturdy and Thin
Love this utility knife. It does everything any other knife does, but folds to be significantly more tight then other knives. I like to carry a utility knife with me all the time so, small, thin and compact is more comfortable. It is nice and thin, but feels sturdy and well built. The only thing I wish was different is where you have to push to unlock. I would have prefer the unlock to be on the non-blade side of the knife. Not a huge deal breaker by any means, but it would be nice to have my fingers out of the way when folding the knife.

Better than expected. The search is over.
I've searched for something like this for a long time. While searching I've seen these but figured that, at this price, they wouldn't be up to par. A Coworker asked me for a replacement blade for his knife and handed this over and was very impressed. Just received my 3 pack. Pros: *Blade retention is good if you don't expect miracles. * Pivot is just tight enough to (hopefully) keep it closed in your pocket. *Clip is sturdy, and stays in 5th pocket well. *Folded stainless construction reduces complexity and points of failure. *One-handed opening easy if you're a pocket knife person. *Liner lock engages securely, could probably be bent to tighten if it loosens over time. Cons: * Some users may require a knife to lock in the closed position if stored in anything other than 5th pocket. I chose the SS version, it looks like there are models available with this feature. * Some reviews have mentioned theirs looking "used". Mine looked that way also but I'm 99% sure that's simply a reflection of manufacturing a stainless product that you sell a a low price. If you like out of the box shiny things this isn't it. *There is a little slop in the blade retention, moves ~.050" front to back. YMMV depending on the slots in your blades. This is reminiscent of very old school (mid 1900's) knives and implements, with some modern touches. I didn't try to adjust the pivot tension but other reviews mentioned Loctite, that's a good thing. The blade retention clip seems like a smart, durable solution. Like all tools that cut there are safety considerations, I won't go into a safety lecture, if you've read this far you probably know the limitations of replaceable razor blades and the knives that hold them. If you're looking for an EDC razor knife with low mass, thin profile, and everything else mentioned above then this is it. If you're looking for the latest Ti or SS razor knife to brag about on social media this isn't it. A thoughtful reviewer posted some pics of their mods, Dremeling a slot for a seatbelt cutter will instead be a great wire stripper for me. OK, that was all a lot but I'm pretty tickled with these.

Solid, sturdy, small and lightweight.
Great price for 3 which came factory-packed in a small cardboard box within the Amazon mailer. As usual, very speedy shipping through Amazon. Comes with simple instructions for easily releasing a blade for replacement. Stainless steel construction, so no worries about rusting the minimalist frame. Technically it has a "frame-lock" design to securely hold the blade open while in use. That easily releases to re-close with just lateral thumb pressure. It would not likely open accidentally if dropped and never while in a pocket. These each come with a sharp standard utility knife blade installed. Big hands my not like the small size and the very thin frame. But this is not intended for heavy or continuous use such as scoring sheet rock. Great to have handy for cutting open cartons and sharp enough to make a clean straight cut guided by a metal straight edge. See photos for various views both open and closed and beside a common BIC lighter for size comparison. Belt or pocket clip is very secure and should hold well, but I will probably just keep one slipped inside a pocket, anyway. And there are no sharp edges on the frame to snag fabric in a pocket. Weight of each compact knife with blade installed is only 50.5 grams (1.78 ounces). That is extremely light, so this will be very practical to carry along any time and anywhere it might possibly be needed. A great bargain at only around $5 US per each knife.

Great design for a compact razor knife. But QC is not high on their list. Buy if you don't mind fixing your brand new tools..
A friend of mine gave me a razor knife at work. I liked it, but it was rather thick and really filled up my pocket. So I started looking for something better. The Workpro is a great design. Stainless and compact -- I like it. The only thing missing is an easier way to open with one hand. Another customer recommends filing a crosshatch pattern in to the ridge where you open it.. I'm going to do that. I was considering a compact Gerber model, but I read that the pocket clips are flimsy. Plus a screwdriver is needed to replace blades on that model. So I opted for the Chinese model that got very good reviews. Oh, and a few people got a stiff product.. But, that isn't going to happen to me, right? The reason I'm giving 4 stars, is that I feel like I paid $20 for one knife, not three. I'm tempted to give 3 stars. One of the knives is great. The other two are VERY stiff. I oiled and worked and worked the other two, but they are still too stiff to consider "good". Quality control really stinks with this manufacturer. I'm not the only one to experience this. I'm going to work on those other two a little while longer. And If I can't fix at least one of them, I'm going to seek a replacement. Edit: I found a way to fix this to my liking. The star bolts that hold this together are size 10. They spin together, so I dare not try loosen them! I put the star bit in my drill, oiled the joint and spun it with the drill for a few seconds. I did this to all three -- just took me a few minutes. It worked well enough that the stiff ones open easily. The good, loose one now opens with a quick flip of the wrist. I'm satisfied. I hope you have better luck. -Chris

These are great little box knives
If you are looking for something small that you can keep with you without adding to the bulk you carry, these are a great option! 1. They are light and minimalist. 2. The knives are easy to open and close. 3. The spring-loaded blade-swapping system is very simple and unique. The blades are secure in the knives. 4. There is a clip for you to use to clip the knife to your belt or to your pocket. It's very strong. Other knives that I own have had the clip bend, this one does not. 5. The ergonomics are not great on this knife. If you are going to use this knife for long periods of the day this is definitely not the knife for you. Bottom Line: Buy these if you are looking for something small and inexpensive that you can carry with you and will not be using every day.

Good quality utility knife, thick metal, nicely finished, mechanically sound, works well
These knives came well packaged in a small cardboard box. The knives are clipped onto a separate folded sheet of folded cardboard that keeps them from touching each other or shifting around and getting dented or scratched in transit. The package feels surprisingly dense and solid. The knives (3 per package) are made of thick, shiny stainless steel. The stampings are fully deburred, polished and laser marked. They are very well-fitted, and the liner lock mechanism locks with a nice satisfying click. The tolerances are amazing for a knife at this price point. I got a set of three for $15. The blade is a standard utility knife blade, so this is obviously not a replacement for general purpose pocket knife, but for opening packages and small trimming jobs, it will do the job very well. perfect for those messy jobs you don't like to use your standard pocket knife for, like slicing messy tape, or opening gritty boxes that might dull the blade. The blade changes in seconds, and ready to go again. Knife does not feel flimsy at all. Thick, sturdy steel, (0.039" / 0.99 mm) and very well fitted. Heavy enough to handle easily, but not so heavy as to be annoying in the pocket. Overall dimensions (excluding the clip are 1 inch wide, 3" long (folded), and 0.295" thick. 5-1/4" long when opened. The blade has some slop vertically, but is held firmly side-to-side, so no worries about wandering cuts or slippage. The assembly tolerances are amazing, especially given the price point, so I took a shot at measuring them for you, so you can compare to another knife if you like. I had a hard time measuring the amount of play in the hinge lock. I didn't want to make a full-on setup, but it looks like about 0.020" of rotational play measured at the end of the blade holder. Side play was just detectable by feel, but I couldn't actually measure it. Indistinguishable from flex without a competent tooling setup. The blade is the weak point here, which is exactly as it should be. The sturdiness and good assembly of the body and hinge gives confidence and a feeling of good control when cutting. Very nice. Feels solid, and sturdy. Never feels like the handle will twist or bend in your hand. If you break the blade, it's not because of a weak handle. Sounds weird to call a 5 dollar knife beautiful, but, well, I'm a engineering geek, so what can I say. I'm impressed. This is a really good knoife. The no-tools blade change mechanism is easy to use, and the blade is securely held. I can't see this accidentally coming loose or falling out unexpectedly. The only limitation I see for this tool is the blade is just a utility knife blade, but that's just what it is. Love these knives. If they break, or (more likely) get lost, I would instantly buy them again. I might buy some just to give away. They are good. Buy a pack. You won't be disappointed.

Best box cutter I ever used
The absolute best box cutter I have ever purchased. The form factor is incredible. You can literally forget you have it on you but it is always there when I need it. The locking mechanism is sturdy and reliable and swapping blades is a breeze. I don't go anywhere without this. I loved it so much I am buying more because when I misplaced mine last week I missed it so much that I could have practically mourned it! You will not regret purchasing these! Be sure to lubricate it after the first year or two and bear in mind there is a slight break-in period, but you will never buy a bulky box cutter again after using this.

This little thing is solid! Love it!
I wasn't sure about this. It looked cheap, and TBH I wasn't expecting quality at this price, let alone for three of them. I was wrong. It's shockingly well-made. HANDLE: There's not much to this little knife, an outside body/case with a liner-lock secures the blade in the open position, the easy-to-unlatch liner lock allows one-handed closing. Opening with one hand IS possible, but not easy- it requires thumb dexterity to do. The outside case is made of a 1mm (0.0425") thick one-piece folded steel sheet. Folded, it's about 3" long, 1" wide, and a third of an inch thick. When opened it's about 5-1/4" long- which may be a littl short for some people but I fond it okay, a little shorter than I would like but not bad- I got used to it easily enough. BLADE: The blade is SO easy and fast to change. There's an arrow that shows where to push up. Once it's raised it unlocks the blade so you can slide it forward and out. Then slide the new blade in and push the blade lock down and it's done. Once you push it down give the blade a gentle tug to make sure it's locked in. If it's not, then repeat the process and push the blad lock down again until it's secure. These are small enough to allow you to carry it with you as a EDC, and cheap enough to throw onw in your glove box and lots of other places as a handy box cutter or whatever you need it for. I highly recommend!
