Awesome temporary shelter for plants
We live in Georgia and I bought this to get my fiance through the winter until he can build his real greenhouse. I am a 53 year old woman and I put it together by myself. Since it is not permanent I did not build any type of foundation. I just put it up as is in the spot cleared next to the garage for the real greenhouse. I did have some trouble with side poles popping apart since there are no screws like with the ShelterLogic garage tent I also purchased but once you put together the top ridge poles and put the pointy things on the bottom to stick the sides in the ground it started to stay together. I did purchase some T stakes for $6 a six pack to stake down with the string provided to stake it down. It is in a sheltered spot and even after a couple of storms that had really high win gusts it did not move. I did take another buyers advice and purchased some velcro for the windows because the tiny pieces don’t keep the windows shut. Even on below freezing days it was really humid and warm in there. It is long on the sides so when the leaves fell in the fall we just left them on those flaps to keep them down and the cold from getting in. It’s hot now and no rips or tears in the plastic. All in all, for the money, I am extremely happy with this purchase. I paid about $20 more for the velcro and stakes. If you don’t have a sheltered spot for it or a lot of wind all the time I probably wouldn’t recommend this but for us it was perfect.

DEFECTIVE PLASTIC on cover.
I would have given this product 5 stars when I first purchased it a year ago but the plastic cover is made of defective plastic that disintegrates within the first year leaving a potential toxic situation in the soil/plants below it. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I feel like potential buyers should be aware of this. Another things to note is that although the design is nice I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND picking up LARGE SCREW GROUND ANCHORS to keep the tent in place in winds. The "L" shaped anchors are not enough to keep it from flying away. The positive points I would give this greenhouse is that is is very inexpensive and has a sturdy enough metal frame to support the cover. It also held the temperature inside very well for the 4 months that I used it. It has a smooth operating zippered entryway and air ventilation flaps on the sides. The design itself is nice. The negative points are that the plastic disintegrates within 8 to 12 months. I purchased two greenhouses in different sizes. I live in a relatively mild Southern California climate. Both greenhouses were located in partial shade so they were not exposed to extreme heat or cold. I used them for 4 months then stored the smaller greenhouse in the garage and kept the larger one standing and mostly empty (just kept some empty pots and tools in it) for the rest of the year. At about 8 months I noticed a few holes in the plastic between the green webbing, by 11 months it looked like it had snowed inside the tent. The plastic was all over the ground (see pictures). This really worries me because of the potential toxins that could end up in your soil/food from the plastic particles. I pulled my second tent out of the garage and noticed that it also had begun to lose the plastic between the green webbing on the cover.I contacted the seller and was told the greenhouse is only under warranty for 3 months from purchase but they offered a deal on another tent. I'm not sure if the tents I purchased were made from a bad batch of plastic mix or if they are all made of the same. Some other reviewers complain of the same thing. There are many 5 star reviews here as well but not many that review after having owned the greenhouse for a year. Either way I think it should be marketed as a one to two season greenhouse. I may have left more than one star if I was made aware of this in the listing. In short, this is probably the most inexpensive greenhouse you can find on Amazon at the moment. Although the design is nice and it keeps the heat in when new, the ones I purchased were made of faulty plastic. If you do decide to purchase it, watch the material closely to make sure plastic does not end up in your plants, plan on buying additional large screw ground anchors to keep it in place and plan on buying a replacement cover after 6 months to a year.

The structure collapsed on us in the very first windstorm. The metal structure needs to be replaced now, but the material that covers it is still in really good shape. The anchors that came with the set up are also not very good. We bought another set of anchors after our set up but did not get them placed on the green house before that storm. I am not sure that it would have saved it since the metal poles bent in the wind. At first it did seem like was going to work great before that happened. We will still use the cover but need to completely rebuild the internal frame from stronger material.

The purchase experience was fine. The product arrived earlier than promised and all parts were complete. The assembling and installation was very straight forward. It has been under the weather for about three weeks and it is still fine. I am waiting for the winter season to see how it will stand up to it. My only reservation is that it is not as heavy as I expected. I have to lay heavy wood and stones all around the cover ground flaps to give it some strength.
