Good quality but not all the bends where correct.

First and foremost, these are for the EFI 460, NOT carburated. There is a diference between the two. Blocks are the same but heads and intake are completely different. Tho, I out these in my 87 for, it has an engine from a 95 f350, hence and efi block.Installation was straight forward. Had to finess the driver side in and keep tightening everything a little at a time. Had a brake line in the way and had to move it too. Dip stick also needed to be re routed.Trans is a ZF5 with an e4od cross member for now but I do have a proper crossmember and both will clear.Plugged and welded the egr and O2 sensor ports. Though its efi heads and intake, I have a spacer that makes carburated and had no need for them.Truck is definately quieter and with a real exhaust it feels better. Can't really say much about power and efficiency as the whole engine and drive train on the truck are different than the origional.I'm happy with the purchase. Always wanted a set and these are very nice. Didn't break the bank and are made in USA.

The headers themselves fit. The drivers side wasnt easy to get in but once bolted up they fit pretty decent. The y pipe didnt fit at all in my 1989 f250 zf5 4x4. Not a huge deal for me since I do welding and fabrication. I actually was able to cut apart the y pipe and make what I needed from it so I guess in a way they do fit. You just need a welder haha. I sandblasted all the pieces and coated them in vht header paint before installing since the paint they come with isnt high temperature paint.

1996 F250 Crew Cab. 4X4 7.5 L V8 E4OD Trans. These headers took a lot of work to get in. The bolts were very difficult to insert and tighten given the overly tight bend radius on the individual header pipes. Heddman should offer the 45 degree emissions elbow that needs to be removed from original Ford manifold, as it is impossible to remove from the original manifold and is $100+ from Ford. The header bolts don't have a lot of engagement and should be 1/4 inch longer. The hanger on the bend pipe needed to be relocated as it was too long. I addition to all of the this the Y pipe interferes with transmission bracket...... that had to be removed and rewelded....As for headers, I give them an A. They sound good, add power, and were a good upgrade. For installation, I would give Heddman an F, I could not have done this job with out my welder, and it took me 10 hours to get them right.

I like the fact that they showed up better late than never, and the install is exactly as the reviews say extremely difficult darn near impossible go with the banks you get what you pay for..

I put these headers on my 92 f250 5 speed manual 4x4. Everything went in fine and fit well. You will have to fabricate exhaust from headers back for the piping that came with is not correct and is cheap pipe. Otherwise headers are well made and fit correctly.

One of the passenger header tubes touches the frame. Had to cut bend and pretty much rebuild the fuel filter heat shield on the driver's side of the frame. Hardware is shorter than I'd like it, and I had to cut a slit in the y-pipe bolt it to the header collectors and weld it back together just so it would fit properly.

Running this exhaust in a 460 swapped 1990 bronco with solid axles and it fits perfectly. Worth every penny.
