I wanted to buy my 15 year old son his first shaving razor that would last and he could have as a keepsake. We received the razor and it is very durable and easy for him to take apart and put together on his own. It also comes with 10 stainless steel blades, which fit easily into the blade housing. The razor works extremely well and with a little guidance he was able to shave for his first time. I love that he can keep this with him until he grows old. Mom bought me my first fancy razor. Was very pleased with this purchase.

I like the razor a lot good balance and the open comb gets a more aggressive shave. However the blades that come with it leave little to be desired.

1. The threading on these razors is very bad. It is very hard to screw the handle fully. 2. Sharp edges on the parts. The finishing on these razors is terrible. 2. Razor blades will not fit snuggly between the two upper razor parts because of the bad threading of the handle. there are other safety razors in the same pace range with superior quality.

Was looking for a nice vintage looking razor for my dad as a gift and I came across this one. My dad loves it!! The fact that it comes with an attachable mini comb and 10 stainless steel blades was a plus. He said that it gives him a nice clean shave. It got delivered fast and the packaging was professional. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a razor as a gift.

I wanted to try an open comb. I should have sprung for the Muhle R41 or a vintage Gillette. Very poor machining on this razor. Blade sticks out more on one side than another. Cap sits crooked. Close shave if you are super careful. I am not impressed, but it is cheap.

Not stainless steel by any stretch. Head is pot metal and the handle is not stainless. But… handle is plated brass done very well and made the perfect handle for a new stainless head I acquired. Get the handle, toss the rest of it.

Awfull finish inside the heads. But very nice handle. Middle nice shaving. Presentable package that suits for small nice gift.

Nice razor with open and closed comb options. The handle has good balance. The blade ends are exposed so be careful. I seriously doubt it is stainless steel but it has good fit and finish. The closed comb shave is mild but effective.
