I work in a dental office and we at one time had this product available to us. The powers that be decided to stop ordering it which is really a shame. I feel so bad taking radiographs and impressions on people with a strong gag reflex like mine. I too struggle each year when my dental professional must take x-rays of my teeth. I too recall the misery that was having impressions taken after my braces were removed. This product is amazing. Just a few small sprays toward the back of your throat and suddenly the urge to gag is gone. It can be a psychological issue as well so be sure to focus your energy on breathing. My hygienist was very thankful to me for bringing this product to my latest appointment and I am sure yours will be too. If you know that having x-rays taken is hard for you, please do not hesitate to buy this product. The other option to get you numb that my office has tastes terrible whereas this is minty.

Good stuff. Anything with lidocaine usually will numb. But don't expect hours of relief and don't over do it. See a physician if the cut or lacerations are bad and hurting you too badly.

Broke a tooth and needed relief until I could see a dentist. This worked great. The mint is a little harsh, but I don’t care for the other cherry flavor.

I bought this for my tonsilectomy. The mint is very strong but it numbs like you got it numbed at the dentist. Would definitely use it for sore throats!

Good Product ... wish I didn't need to use it, as I hate feeling 'numb', however for a topical anesthetic it does the job!

The only downside is the price and the nozzle tends to break now and again. But if you want your oral pain to cease and desist, this is a solid choice.
