Madness are back with their first album in 4 years. The album was produced by Clive Langer and Liam Watson and mixed by Brit Award winner Charlie Andrew. Tracks such as `Mr Apples', `Mumbo Jumbo', the Amy Winehouse referencing `Blackbird' and the title track `Can't Touch Us Now' capture the band's inimitable combination of pop, reggae and soul influences. As on many of Madness greatest moments, the lyrics are gloriously observational and humorous, beautifully framing life in London.

The title says it all
It's a Madness album so of course it's 5 stars. Mostly excellent songs on this offering with only one song (Whistle In The Dark) that wasn't put onto the i-phone for listening in the car. Only 12 tracks on this vinyl edition (16 on the cd) and they have left out the fantastic 'Soul Denying' but most fans will buy the cd anyway and get the extra 4 songsFavourite songs on this LP - Mr. Apples, Herbert, I Believe & You Are My Everything

Great album Madness still sound as good as they ever did. My only negative was this was delivered with no protection whatsoever, just an address label stuck to the polythene. I was surprised it arrived intact. Whoever was responsible for packing this should be sacked.

Wow!
I can't get over how brilliant this new album is. I to admit, the last few have disappointed me but this... love it! Sounds so original and much like the sounds I fell in love with. Vinyl edition is great and the free downloas for extra songs is even better.
