This purchase was very expensive for a litter box, but it was totally worth it !!! Very easy to assemble. It feels like good quality. I had it for a week now and it's been great. After each use it cleans itself. You can schedule if you want but I use it on automatic. The deodoriser it's amazing. I have 2 cats and it works perfectly. I don't have to worry anymore about scooping and cleaning. All I do is top up the litter and check if everything is working fine. The app tells you when to empty the bag. I didn't wait until then because I felt it needs emptying even though the app said it looks normal. Sometimes you might have to give inside a little wipe just to keep it fresh. The litter box is so clean that one of my cats started eating the litter, so I had to change the litter with something with no perfumes. Don't put too much litter just as recommended because you might loose clean litter when it gets cleaned but that was my fault. With that being said, totally worth it, best purchase I could've bought for myself ever !!!

The weight calibration doesn’t work on carpet so basically cannot use this litter box on a carpet or mat surface.The function to completely empty the tray never empties it fully and it will empty all the litter on to the floor as the waste tray will overflow (and even if the waste tray is empty to start with). Litter gets everywhere through the machine and then onto the floor.The material of the tray soaks up smells and is very hard to wipe clean, so after a week it stinks again and means I have to fully empty it and wipe it all out once a week and Hoover up the overflow litter which is quite a bit of work.It does not notify you if the odour removal liquid is empty it will just continue paying the odour removal is complete.For the price that it is the functionality overall is not goodThe customer service has been harassing me about this review to resolve the problem but now won’t do anything about it unless I send them video proof of all these issues (despite sending multiple photos) and videos have to be sent via YouTube upload etc which is complicated.This litter box is so expensive and still more hassle than scooping a normal litter tray I wouldn’t bother buying it.

Bought this as we had issues getting our normal cat sitters for a planned holiday last year - the person stepping in, we didn’t feeli it appropriate to ask them to sieve the litter box every few days. Basically the cat has clean litter every time you use it.It definitely works but one of our girls took a few weeks to fully adapt!Almost a year in and still going strong. Easy to empty and clean and the app functionality is good.It’s definitely not the cheapest but we’ve been far less litter as a result - one 12kg bag of “Worlds Best Cat Litter” every 2 months instead of every month so I think that after 12 months use it’s paid for half the financial cost but also lots of time saved! I empty the full cylinder of litter every 2 weeks (possibly could get longer) but empty the tray and top up the litter once a week in between.

This device was an ok product while it worked. It was not hugely effective in reducing smells - often it would need emptying every other day which reduced the usefulness of the device. However it did work and made the job of sorting out the litter several times a day easier. Yet the device’s failure to resolve smell problems meant that while it ‘worked’ it simply didn’t live up to its lofty promises, and still required more frequent litter emptying than advertised. The biggest problem is that the device inexplicably went offline after just three weeks of operation. After checking it, it was clear that it had turned off and would not turn on again. Checked the mains connection, and wifi - all was fine. The device had just died. Petkit clearly sent out a defective device. Such a fundamental lack of reliability on a product at this price point doesn’t inspire confidence. So am returning for a refund, as am not interested in wasting time to replace a fairly bogstandard producing with another one which might also be defective.

like - cat waste goes into drawer underneath which removed smells although it still smells when cat poos.very responsive to a cat being near - it stops moving until cat has gone.don't need to change litter as often.i can set the deodoriser to spray at different times.it is quiet - i cant hear it in the adjoining conservatorydislike - a bit small inside for cats. my small cat poos at the back so the plastic catcher sometimes misses.relatively easy to clean on a daily basis but i use spray first then wipe drum.harder to clean whole unit as the drum is big once you get it out.a bit of waste can fall underneath so worth checking every now and again.i have 3 cats, 2 Persians and 1 big rag doll. all use it fine. i change the waste tray bag daily to stop smells. i tried leaving it longer but it smelt too much. i use ordinary plastic bags 30l with handles and they are fine. i am currently trying different deodorisers but there are a few alternatives available.i clean the drum daily by using a cat friendly disinfectant spray on the soiled areas and then wiping it down putting the used paper in the drawer in the bottom.all in all i am glad i bought it. it isn't without work but hides the mess and minimises the smell.
