These are a wonderful math manipulatives for teachers or tutors to use with their students. They are not for self help for students. They require an instructor who knows how to use them. They are good quality.

Great for Math Centers
When teaching I use Fraction Models to demonstrate concepts. I plan to use these in math centers so that students will have the opportunity to use the manipulative fraction models. Allowing students to use these math manipulative will provide them with the opportunity to have meaningful discussions which will help make math comprehensible. Great product and durable!

Excludes 7ths, 9ths and 11ths.
This is a great manipulative, but I really wish that the set included a set of 7ths, 9ths and 11ths.I know that would require that EAI include an additional 54pieces to this set, but it would make it complete and more robust for students and teachers alike.

As an educational consultant, I use this product and recommend it to my clients who have children that are in the fifth grade and are learning to work wtih fractions.As a teacher I have learned the value of hands on visual aids when it comes to math. This fraction model is easy to use for students so they don't need their parents help to solve their homework problems.All they have to do is find the two fraction cards they're working with and put one card on top of the other and then count the number of boxes they see! Awesome.

This is a fantastic hands-on way to help your students understand the meaning of multiplying fractions. These make multiplying fractions abundantly clear and easy. The cards are high quality. I used these with a student, who I tutor, and he was really excited about them. Made it a really fun tutoring session. I highly recommend them.
