This is an amazing product well worth the money. I was quoted an insane cost for a repair on a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport TD6. Final conclusion was a complete replacement of a DEF system costing over 31k for the estimated quote. Come to find out it’s the rear NOx sensor $901 dollar part 10 minutes to replace. Thanks to this product it saved me from having to buy a new vehicle or fork out tens of thousands. This system is very good for DIY and advanced users. If you struggle Autel also has classes and guides. Second save of the day was the Mitsubishi dealer saying I needed a new transmission for evolution MR, they said the transmission is damaged. After inspecting with Autel and live data of solenoid operations it was found to be a shift fork failure. Quite common on this particular car. The live scan also indicated the magnets were out of parameters. A shift for is like $150-$600 for upgraded versions with a 15 hour job $3300 in labor that’s way less then $23,990 for a new transmission and labor.

Extremely useful device! It helped me to save thousands of dollars not to buy Range Rover with a lot of errors, that was not even shown on dashboard, very easy to use if you watched some videos on YouTube, works with pretty new Range Rover via doip, so i can recommend this device for a regular person who just wants to know more about his car, or when buying new car! Also interface is very friendly and big screen provides more information

As a mobile mechanic, this scan tool is absolutely amazing ! It works on all models haven’t run into any issues even on 2025 vehicles . Autel devices are so user friendly and provide so much data. Great for diagnostics and service on vehicles . Highly recommend the mx900.

Very useful. Provides a lot of information and convenient descriptions if connected to a wifi signal. Was able to check multiple cars and saw errors that my much cheaper readers didn't see at all.

I purchased this to be able to complete brake services for the rear brakes on modern Honda vehicles with an electric parking brake. Specifically the Honda Civic Type R FK8. Not all maintenance scan tools are compatible with the FK8 and after some back and forth with Autel they were able to confirm the MX808S and the MX900 would work for the vehicle. After looking at the feature sets of both units, I determined that the additional functionality of the MX900 would be beneficial in the future as our automotive tastes ebb and flow. This allows for connection to Volkswagen Group Cars and AutoAuth as well as some exotic makes (and while I don't have one, it is nice to know the functionality is there). The MX900 worked perfectly for what I initially bought it for, which was to swap the brakes on the FK8. The price of this tool was less than having a Honda dealer complete the work with parts and labor so represents a good value for anyone with a similar need. As you can see in the photos I was able to connect to the car, initiate brake service mode, complete the brake service and move the car back into normal mode. This is great as it ensures no damage to the servo motors of the e-brake and no codes were thrown once I moved it back to normal mode. Great device with a nice 8" screen, easy to see and operate. Would highly recommend. Also comes with a really nice case that houses the unit, the charge block and cable and the OBDII connector cable. Has additional space for optional accessories as well, like the camera kit.

I never knew scanners could do as much as this one does. I am impressed.

Autel MaxiCheck MX900 Scanner is pricey and more for professional users it worths to be purchased for DIY users. I will give it a 5 star rating though they need to add audio to the design. They also need to make a service manual available to all customers. Please have warranty coverage for an extended period of time.

Amazing tool. Worth the little bit extra compared to others such as Top Don and launch. The UI is fast and easy to use. Features make it stand out. Bigger screen size is a plus. They make setup to use the android functions like email connectivity and upgrading software seem less.
