Absolutely love it!
The media could not be loaded. Firsr I want to say that I'm a legit reviewer and didn't get this for free like every other reviewer . I Got this to play mame games mainly and it's amazing. Everything works out of the box. No drivers or anything. Windows recognizes it as a xinput Xbox 360 controller gamepad so it works on everything. I used Batocera and it works no problem. Should so work on retroarch and emulec just fine since they also use retroarch. So far tested it with fighting games and the classics like pacman, Digdug and galaga and all respond as expected. The pad itself is quite hefty. Weighs 7 pounds. But that's not a bad thing. The weight makes it less likely to move around while playing. As you can see in the video I used the included mounts to attach it to the desk where I plan on playing my arcade games. So bottom line. This is awesome. Can't go wrong with this. It uses real arcade buttons and joysticks. None of that imitation crap. These are the real deal clicky and responsive buttons you are used too in a real arcade and it was well worth the money.

Great Case, Terrible Parts
Buy this for the metal case, and assume that you'll probably want to replace the joystick and at least the main buttons. The joystick especially is garbage as it has a huge dead zone in the middle, and my forward quarter turns only registered about 1 in 3 times. The buttons it comes with are $.50 per, so don't expect anything special there either. You'll probably also want to shift the wiring around so that its more of a traditional format, with a/x/b/y next to the stick instead of reversed for some reason. The great thing though, is that all of this is relatively easy given the simplistic nature of its construction. New parts pop in and out easy enough, and its standardized sizes. You can't find an empty metal enclosure for $60, so that's really where the value is.Oddly, I ordered the black, received the one with the random anime dude on it. I don't even think its attached to an IP so no clue why they'd do that art. Since sanded it and spray painted it, which is not an ideal finish but it was just odd having that art on there. Looks way better now.

Modded is bad
Basically i can't change the gate and the button wire swap is a joke since I can't get the wires off the button without damaging the wires.

GREAT CASE – OK MECHANICALS – JOYSTICK WAY TOO LOOSE FOR MY TASTE
PRODUCT VERSION REVIEWEDARCADE FIGHT STICKS WITH OCTAGONAL GATE - ULTRA-MODDABLE - FIGHTING GAME CONTROLLER - CUSTOMIZE BUTTONS AND JOYSTICK, SUITABLE FOR PC / RASPBERRY PI / PS3 / SWITCH / NEO GEO MINI / ANDROID BY DOYO (BLACK)QUICK REVIEW [TL;DR]GREAT CASE – OK MECHANICALS – JOYSTICK WAY TOO LOOSE FOR MY TASTEREVIEW:I have a professional grade arcade cabinet, as well as having experimented with similar stand-alone fight sticks and PI type arcade builds over the past few years. I think the metal case of the DOYO ARCADE FIGHT STICK is one the best I have tried. The clamps are a nice touch, but not really needed due to the weight of the case. What I don’t like as much are the buttons and the joystick. I’m probably a little spoiled by my other cabinet, but the mechanical parts of this device I don’t love. Of course, this is subjective to each user, but for example, I find the joystick way way too loose. It almost does not return to center on its own. I tried rotating the already installed square restrictor plate, and that helps a tiny amount, but not enough. I also feel that I have to really mash the buttons to make sure I get a good button press. As it says in the description, then DOYO ARCADE FIGHT STICK is very MODDABLE, but I feel compelled to swap out virtually all of the mechanical parts, starting with the joystick. At that point all you really end up with is a nice metal case.MY NEEDS:• I more portable arcade / fight stick solution that I can better use in front of the big screen / projector (instead of sitting at the cabinet)• A comparable feeling experience to the controls similar to my full size cabinet• A system that can be upgraded and experimented with easilySETUP:The DOYO ARCADE FIGHT STICK instructions are a little confusing overall, but mostly can be shorted to “just plug it into the system you want to use”. I like that several different restrictor plates are included. I found the case much easier to work with compared to other similar priced fight sticks. (4 simple screws). I found the inside guts to be much easier to access and modify if wanted / needed. My windows 10 gaming laptop instantly saw the DOYO ARCADE FIGHT STICK as an XBOX 360 controller.PERFORMANCE:I find I have a lot of mis-fires from the DOYO ARCADE FIGHT STICK joystick, but this is largely due to my preference for a super stiff joystick instead of a loose one like this. I’m sure if this was my only stick, I would get used to it quicky. Otherwise, everything performed as expected. When I tried to use XBOX Companion (Remote Streaming of XBOX to PC) not all of the buttons seemed to carry through, so I could not play all the games I wanted to try. I’ll have to do some more experimenting to see if I can figure this out. As my “real” xbox controller works fine in this mode.IMPRESSIONS (so far):Overall good build quality, I would just like higher performance mechanicals from the start.RECOMMENDATION:If you like a loose joystick (wide dead spots), then the DOYO ARCADE FIGHT STICK is perfect out of the box. Since it can be easily modified / customized to your liking, I don’t think you can go wrong, just know you might have to spend another $30 or so on upgraded components.
