I was going to use this table to raise the router in my router table but it wouldn't lift the router. I've kept it as I'm sure I will use it for something. I could set the router high and put the table beneath the router and then lower the table, instead of setting it low and trying to raise it.

I'm in the process of making a router lift using this lift and it can take more weight than you'd imagine. A surprisingly sturdy build.

The top is about the same size as a beer mat, and the lift is about 6/7” it’s ideal for what I need, ie. to lift a plunge router in a homemade router table, the action is smooth and solid certainly feels good quality/value

There isn't much to go wrong with this 'lab stand'. I bought it as a lift for router table and it works very well allowing micro-adjustments.
