I really love this music speaker, it has a built in CD player so I can listen to all my old cd’s and the sound is so clear, it also works on Bluetooth, dab radio, WiFi, it is so compact and stunning looking, goes really well with my sitting room. It’s such good quality and made really well and very sleek looking. So easy to set up. I love it! I would highly recommend buying this, it really is worth every penny.

Everything about this Pure Evoke Home says quality. It was bought in a bit of a rush after a bad experience with another British company's product and shows that you get what you pay for. For me its most important attribute is the sound quality which is superb at all volumes. I use it mainly to listen to BBC Radio 3 and to play my collection of classical CDs. Even with FM radio it delivers (DAB+ reception is patchy here). It looks stylish and the little foldaway information display is such a clever touch. Setting up was fairly straightforward although it does help if you know your way around flatpack furniture instructions - it took me a while to work out that '2s' meant press and hold the button for two seconds, but then I'm of the generation that likes a manual with words rather than diagrams. All in all, though, this system is well worth every pound (a lot of them).

I shouldn't have waited so long, it's a stunning piece of equipment. It's surprisingly shallow in depth and portable, it sounds ten times its size. I'm thrilled with everything about it. Absolutely five stars, easy set up, but just love the cd player too, oldish school, I guess.

Overall this unit is superb but I found the initial set up a bit ot a fiddle, manly due to having to input my WiFi password via the very small touch screen for example. But once everything was up and running everything was fine, neat looks , excellent sound quality and a useful remote control.

Easy set up, there is also a supporting app. But most importantly great sound. Internet, Dab, fm radio and cd all great sound that fills the room. Compact size about the size of a shoe box. Minor hiccup involving dog and remote but the support from Pure was superb.

The CD part of my unit failed after three months with a CD from an expensive box set trapped inside. After trying various suggestions from Pure support to retrieve the disc I was told that my newish unit, still under warranty, was uneconomical to repair. I was told to request a replacement, or a refund. I informed Pure if a new machine was uneconomical to repair why on earth would I want to rely on the reliability of a replacement. I also pursued how I could recover my trapped disc without losing my warranty protection. I received no reply which suggests they have no interest in my predicament and my disc is gone with the return of the unit. Pathetic!

Bought as an Amazon 'Used - like new' product at a small discount ..... a bit worried that there may be something amiss - but all good. The box and contents were all seemingly unopened and everything worked immediately! CD's sound very good, radio tone is superb, attachment to home wifi and Bluetooth connection to my phone were immediate. Like all purchases, the choices on offer can be bewildering? I wanted a good DAB radio with the option of streaming music/podcast from my phone, a CD player for a collection of (mainly older) compact discs and an alarm/sleep function. The overall appearance, was less important to me - but the Evoke Home looks splendid sat on the bedside table! It is the quality of the sound, however, that really stands out for me. The UNDOK app enables some 'tweaking' with treble and bass sliders - but I found that the tone of the Evoke Home was largely right for my ears from the outset. There are many reviewers who comment on 'soundstages and musicality' ...... I know nothing of these ..... but I do know that for older ears which may have slight 'faults' (I cannot hear many higher pitched sounds in my left ear) the Evoke Home is a delight. I listen to a mix of classical, ambient, jazz, soul and Radio 4 podcasts and have found that all sound is clear and balanced. I have tested (but not spent much time on) the internet abilities of the Evoke Home and found that you can indeed listen in to almost any country in the world. I am very happy with the purchase!

The sound is truly spot on , you can adjust the bass and treble with the UNDOK app so it suits your tastes,, you need the app it’s easier than the remote. Good looking set , better than the picture- so easy to set up ! ( took me 10 minutes) The ONLY criticism I’ve got Pure if you listening , please update the software to put the cover art on screen for the CDs ,,, buy this Hifi you won’t regret it!
