Somebody said to me that "A toaster is just a toaster" and I can assure you that is not the case. This is a reasonably priced toaster of good quality. It toasts evenly on all sides. It is easily adjustable so you can toast to your own preferred specifications. Easy to clean and has a nice appearance. One minor thing that I find very helpful is that the cancel button is at the top of the "stack" of buttons. No fumbling to eject the toast early!

I’m very happy with this toaster. It looks nice on my counter, and it toasts evenly every time. The slots are wide enough for bagels or thicker slices of bread. The bagel setting works great and gives a perfect crisp outside while keeping the inside soft. Cleaning is easy with the slide-out crumb tray. Great quality and very good value for the price.

It works good. Sometimes it will overdo some breads like sourdough but overall it works fine.

I’m so glad I bought Hamilton Beach again. This toaster is just what I hoped it would be. I’ve used it almost every day for a month or more. It toasts different types of bread, however brown you ‘d like it. It’s so fast; much more efficient than my HB toaster oven. It looks good, is not a fussy appliance, easy to use, toasts 1 or 2 slices equally well. The dimensions are as listed in specs. I’m not doubting the negative reviews, but try it before you decide. And read the very short directions/hints. Toaster needs to be plugged in for the lever to engage. It’s a safety feature. The crumb tray is the full width of two slices of bread. Also, the surface doesn’t get hot and wipes clean easily.

It does everything I need a toaster to do, without all the bells & whistles that hike up the price. I’ve been very satisfied with the shade settings dial— it’s been very accurate!!! I bought this for my grandma to toast sourdough bread, so the bread capacity is excellent & it’s been toasting great! The slot size is perfect. The toaster itself looks so clean that my grandma has allowed it to live on the counter. I even bought this used & I’m overall incredibly satisfied with the toaster I got.

It toasts, but unevenly. Oh well.

I really like this toaster but now it won’t push the toast down. It keeps popping back up. I think it’s broken already after six months too bad I really like it.

I bought this 11/2024. I have a couple of gripes with this thing. First off, getting remnants out of it is impossible. I tried to take the tray out. It barely has anything. It’s all the sides. I’ve flipped this thing around and finally unscrewed the entire button black part on for that not to fully come off. I just dealt with all this crap in there for the last 6 months and it finally stopped working. Every time I push the handle down, there is a blue spark inside of it now. The bad won’t stay down. What a waste of money. Look elsewhere Unless you are cool with a fire hazard that only lasts a bit over a year. To give it a pro, it is quick and consistent. When working.

The product is quite impressive. I didn’t expect it to work this well. The build quality feels heavy and strong. I did a lot of research before buying it, and the decision turned out to be right. The performance is good and it is value for money

I like this toaster, it works well for me. It would be nice if I could clean more of the crumbs out of it, like if it had a larger crumb tray.... but well I think this is just typical of toasters. I like that I can lift the toast up a bit to make it easier to remove if the bread is a bit short... and I like that the slots fit bagel slices fine. So many of the new toasters I saw, while out hunting for one, had a lot of plastic in their construction which I really did not like at all. This one has very little plastic (just the bottom underneath the crumb tray and a little on the front where the controls are), it is almost entirely real, actual metal. :)

Tuesta de forma uniforme. La única queja es que hay que ajustar el nivel cada vez, ya que vuelve automáticamente al nivel 4, que consideramos demasiado oscuro. Para nosotros, el 3 es perfecto.

It tilt to the front when I push the lever. If the bread isn't just right, I can't put it back down again right away, I need to wait 15 seconds or so. Very not practical when making breakfast for 2-3 people. Bagel button doesn't seem to do anything. the 2 pros: it looks nice in my opinion, and the frozen button works like a charm.
