Oster CryogenX Detachable Pet Clipper Blade, Size 7F

This is a wonderful blade. I purchased this specific blade for my Angora rabbits. I raise angoras and shave then every few weeks throughout the summer. Angora wool is tough to shear, it's very dense and the fibers are incredibly fine and can jam up blades. I looked at a chart of recommended blades for different dog breeds to decide which blade to purchase. I settled on this one as it seemed to be the best for wool type coats with fine hairs, such as the pomeranian. I have an A5 trimmer, which this blade fit perfectly. It did the job perfectly. It separated and guided the wool back to be cut without a hitch or snag to speak of. I was pleasantly surprised! It cut my shearing time for a single rabbit with a number 10 blade down from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 40-45 minutes. It is easy to clean, easy to change, and very sharp. I have been using it every three weeks for the past three months to shave my 12 rabbits and have seen no dulling or damage. I highly recommend this blade for any wooly animal that needs a trim. This is a reliable product from a reliable company.

Should have bought the blades sooner. Simple to swap out and they cut springer hair nicely.

This product works as it should

This is the third or fourth CryogenX blade I've purchased from Amazon (other sizes) and they work GREAT with both Oster and Andus A6 clipper bodies. We have a couple of yorkie poos that I "homegroom" and these blades are proven performers. They attach to the clipper body easily and are easy to clean and easy to "swap." I have a 5, a 10, a 7 skip tooth, and now this 7F for finishing. I'd recommend using standard blade lube like this Oster Blade Lube 4oz for sustaining a sharp edge & I like using this to clean/condition the blades before storage: Top Performance Extend-A-Life Clipper Blade Rinse, 16-Ounce . Yes, it takes a little time and practice to learn how to groom well, but thanks to Amazon, Google, & YouTube videos, I'm proud to say my two look a little better now than they did when I paid the groomer $125 a session to bathe & groom them. I have been using this brand of blade for about 10 years. I have a cocker spaniel. It works nicely and is easy to clean. It does seem in recent years the blade does dull a little faster then what they used to.

It was everything I expected, it has worked very well. It didn’t heat up as fast as others have in the past.

Tengo una máquina más barata que la Oster, pero compatible en cuchillas. Mi anterior cuchilla, del 10, pelaba demasiado y, sobre todo, con pelo fino (Yorkshire de pocos meses) no lo agarraba bien. Esta entra perfectamente en pelo denso, fuerte, más fino,... va muy bien. No es nada barata; pero el resultado es bueno y los perros no sufren. El rapado, para yorkshire, es bueno, ni demasiado fino ni muy largo. Lo único... lo de que no se calienta... a los 15 minutos ya está calentita; pero no molesta a los cánidos esquilánidos.

I love these blades they cut through my Maltese shihtzus hair effortlessly . They last awhile and you will know when they need replacing as they won’t cut the dogs hair /fur . I oil mine up with sewing machine oil after use to keep the blades from rusting . Also my dog groomer gave me hers when she moved away so that shows they’re 100% great .

Sehr guter Scherkopf - sehr gut und noch immer ohne Probleme bei mir bzw bei meinen Hunden, in Gebrauch, da zupft nichts - er schneidet und schneidet. Selbstverständlich sollte man nicht darauf vergessen, die Reinigung und die Tropfen an Öl dem guten Stück zukommen zu lassen. Dann macht er lange Freude.

Having used the No. 7F blade for many years and needed to buy another as the other one wasn't doing a great job after 10 years of service. So today just clipped my two cocker spaniels and the blade did not let me down... excellent.
