I ordered these earring hooks because the ones I am using have tarnished on me. These state that they are oxidation resistant, stainless steel non fading. So I was so excited to get them and switch out my earring hooks ( I sell earrings ) so I switched out 100 of them and today I was doing a really fine inspection on them and they have tarnished ( oxidized) on me. I can’t return them because first I probably missed the return date and second I already have sold some. I paid $32.00 for 200. They are also stamped 925 which I was really surprised because I had purchased some a few months back from a different seller for about $10.00 that were 925, they have tarnished and that is why I thought I would pay more and get a better quality. I am very disappointed. They don’t look like they do in the picture either.

I've purchased these to replace earring hooks on some of my earrings that have been sold as hypoallergenic, where after some years the plating or coating has come off and my ears have started reacting to whatever metal is underneath. I've only replaced 2 pairs so far, but have managed to wear both those pairs of earrings for a full day now with no reaction whereas previously my ear lobes would have been starting to swell and the piercings begining to weep within 2 or 3 hours. So very happy with these at the moment - now to see if they last.
