The Alonefire SV47 UV light was everything I was hoping it would be.It has great brightness, wonderful balance, convenient size, safety hand strap, included battery, and precise manufacturing tolerances. It also can operate from an external power source, such as a power bank or any charge source without the battery. The battery compartment section can be removed and a tail cap is included to make it ultra compact when using an external power source. This allows for infinite run time with external batteries. Case heat sink design provides good heat dissipation. Also, it has an internal thread for mounting to any tripod for curing or viewing without holding the light. A very convenient feature for some. It can charge using any USB-C cable without removing the battery each time. Switch is well lit without being too bright and shows charge condition by changing color from red to green when full. Holding the switch for a few seconds will decrease brightness. Coated filter provides clean UV light beam. Charging cord and UV safety glasses included. A simple belt clip would have been nice, but this will fit most pockets. A draw strap cloth bag for storage would also be nice, but the box will do.

Bright, rechargeable, works well. Handy size, easy to carry.

Have used them probably 15-20 times in the past year and have been very satisfied. I have another light that i paid almost $100 for because j was told it was the best there was at the time and I honestly don't believe it's any better than these ones and i paid almost 1/4 the price. Great light. If you wear bifocal contacts the yellow glasses they include help tremendously.

This is my first UV flashlight and I've had it for two months. So I'm not an expert by any means. So far it is working well, the battery lasts a good while. I haven't kept it on continuously to time it, but I've charged only once 2 months ago. I've used a few times for random testing and the light is still strong. This might not be a good way to test battery life, but I've had other chargeable items where the battery dies even without use. As of now, I'm happy with this purchase. I'll update this update if anything changes.

I like flashlight, strong beam, comfortable handle. Poor quality protective glasses - flimsy, slip down easily, broke after two falls on the ground. I bought flashlight to find cat urine stains. I expected stains to be bright. It happens, they are muted yellow color ( some other stains are very bright). But you can find them if you know what to expect. Flashlight can be used to spot fungus in your garden - fungus is so bright, like something from Avatar movie. I like the product and would recommend it. You just need to buy protective glasses from somewhere else.

Great light works very well for rock hounding. Works well from a distance so you don't need to hunch over.

Well-built UV light but for close inspections only. If you are going to a beach to search for yooperlites , you will need to be VERY close to detect them.I found the light useless...although well-built.
